337 आवेलो-आमेलो ( Vide 'नीपापीडे मो वा' p. 79, इ being changed to लू by 'टोर्बडिशादौ लः' p. 74, आपीड being in बडिशादि's). वेङ्गुदशिथिलयोः ॥ १।२ । ४६ ।। p. 62In इङ्गुद and शिथिल, the initial इ is optionally changed to अ. इङ्गुदम्-अंगुअं--इंगुअं । शिथिलम्--सढिलं-सिढिलं (थ् being changed to टू by 'प्रथम शिथिलमेथिशिथिर निषधेषु' p. 29 ). णिम्माणं णिम्मिरं ॥ १।२ । ४७ ॥ p. 62This is the wording of the Sûtra as found in the Mss. and in P. JUFATUT is explained in the Vžitti as a substitute for निर्मातम् and णिम्मिअं for निर्मितम्. In the Ms. of प्राकृ० व्याक वृत्ति of त्रिविक्रम with me, the Sutra reads-'णिम्मोणं णिम्मिअं'. The Vxitti is-'इत्येतौ निर्मातनिर्मिताभ्यां भविष्यतः'. The Sutra has no propriety under this section. उ युधिष्टिरे ॥ १।२ । ४८ ॥ p. 62In युधिष्ठिर, the initial इ is optionally changed to उ. युधिष्ठिरः-जहुढिलो-जहि ढिलो । (य् is changed to ~ by 'आदेर्ज:' p. 81, ध् to ह by 'खघथधभाम्' p. 18, v is dropped by 'कगटडतदपक पशोरुपयद्रे', ठ् is doubled by 'शेषादेशस्या होचोखोः' p. 15, and the first © changed to ट् by 'पूर्वमुपरि वर्गस्य युज' p. 49). द्विनीक्षुप्रवासिषु ॥ १।२ । ४९ ॥ p. 62In द्वि, नि, इक्षु and प्रवासिन् , the initial इ is changed to उ. Trivikrama gives the following instances:द्विमात्रः-दुमत्तो । द्विजाति:-दुआई । द्विविधः-दुविहो । द्विरेफः-दुरेहो। द्विवचनम्-दुवअणं ( Hema. has दुवयणं )। द्विधापि स सुरवधूसार्थःदुहा वि सो सुरवधूसत्थो । The rule holds optionally in some cases on account of the अधिकारसूत्र 'बहुलम्' having influence here--'बहुलाधिकारात् क्वचिद्विकल्प:'-द्विगुणः-दुउणो (Hema. has बिउणो)-दिउणो । द्वितीयः-दुईओ-दिईओ (दुइओ-बिइओ Hema.)| Lakshmidhara gives gouit as the only equivalent for fagut; but Trivikrama and Hemachandra give two forms as shown above. The rule is not applicable in some cases-'क्वचिन्न । द्विजःदिओ। द्विरदः–दिरओ । द्विधागतः-दिहागओ।
