द्वादशीत्तरशतं पर्व प्रालेयपटसंवीता धर्मध्यानस्थचेतसः । तिष्ठन्ति योगिनो यत्र निशि स्थण्डिलपृष्ठगाः ॥१३॥ तत्र काले महामण्डशीतवाताहतद्रुमे । पद्माकरसमुत्सादे दापितोष्णकरोद्गमे ॥१॥ . प्रासादावनिकुक्षिस्थौ तिष्ठतस्तौ यथेप्सितम् । श्रीमद्यतिवक्षोजक्रीडालम्बनवपसौ ॥१५॥ वीणामृदङ्गवंशादिसम्भूतं मधुरस्वरम् । कुर्वाणौ मनसि स्वेच्छं परं श्रोत्ररसायनम् ॥१६॥ वाणीनिर्जितवीणाभिरनुकूलाभिरादरात् । सेव्यमानौ वरस्त्रीभिरमरी भिरिवामरौ ॥१७॥ नक्तं दिन परिस्फीतभोगसम्पत्समन्वितौ । सुखं तौ नयतः कालं सर्वपुण्यानुभावतः ॥१८॥ एवं तौ तावदासेते पुरुषौ जगदुत्कटौ । अथ श्रीशैलवीरस्य वृत्तान्तं शृणु पार्थिव ॥१६॥ सेवते परमैश्वयं नगरे कर्णकुण्डले । पूर्वपुण्यानुभावेन स्वर्गीवानिलनन्दनः ॥२०॥ विद्याधरमहत्त्वेन सहितः परमक्रियः । स्त्रीसहस्रपरीवारः स्वेच्छयाऽटति मेदिनीम् ॥२१॥ वरं विमानमारूढः परमर्द्धिसमन्वितः । सरकाननादिषु श्रीमास्तदा क्रीडति देववत् ॥२२॥ अन्यदा जगदुन्मादहेतौ कुसुमहासिनि । वसन्तसमये प्राप्ते प्रियामोदनभम्वति ॥२३॥ जिनेन्द्रभक्तिसंवीतमानसः पवनात्मजः । हृष्टः सम्प्रस्थितो मेरुमन्तःपुरसमन्वितः ॥२४॥ नानाकुसुमरम्याणि सेवितानि ध्रुवासिभिः । कुलपर्वतसानूनि प्रस्थितः सोऽवतिष्ठते ॥२५॥ मत्तभृङ्गान्यपुष्टोधनादवन्ति मनोहरैः। सरोभिदर्शनीयानि स वनानि च भूरिशः ॥२६॥ मिथुनैरुपभोग्यानि पत्रपुष्पफलैस्तथा । काननानि विचित्राणि रत्नोयोतितपर्वतान् ॥२७॥
जिस कालमें रात्रिके समय धर्मध्यानमें लीन, एवं वनके खुले चबूतरोंपर बैठे मुनिराज बर्फरूपी वस्त्रसे आवृत हो स्थित रहते हैं, जहाँ अत्यन्त शीत वायुसे वृक्ष नष्ट हो जाते हैं, कमलोंके वन सख जाते हैं और जहाँ लोग सर्योदयको अत्यन्त पसन्द करते हैं ऐसे शीतकालमें वे महलोंके गर्भगृहमें इच्छानुसार रहते थे, उनके वक्षःस्थल तरुण स्त्रियोंके स्तनोंकी क्रीड़ाके आधार थे, वीणां, मृदङ्ग, बाँसुरी आदिसे उत्पन्न, कानोंके लिए उत्तम रसायनस्वरूप मधुरस्वरको वे अपनी इच्छानुसार करते थे, जिन्होंने अपनी वाणीसे वीणाको जीत लिया था ऐसी अनुकूल स्त्रियाँ बड़े आदरसे उनकी सेवा करती थीं और इसीलिए वे देवियोंके द्वारा सेवित देवोंके समान जान पड़ते थे । इस प्रकार वे पुण्यकर्मके प्रभावसे रातदिन अत्यधिक भोगसम्पदासे युक्त रहते हुए सुखसे समय व्यतीत करते थे ॥१३-१८॥
गौतमस्वामी कहते हैं कि इस तरह वे दोनों लोकोत्तम पुरुष सुखसे विद्यमान थे। हे राजन् ! अब वीर हनूमान्का वृत्तान्त सुन ॥१६।। पूर्वपुण्यके प्रभावसे हनूमान् कर्णकुण्डल नगरमें देवके समान परम ऐश्वर्यका उपभोग कर रहा था ।।२०।। विद्याधरोंके माहात्म्यसे सहित तथा उत्तमोत्तम क्रियाओंसे युक्त हनूमान् हजारों स्त्रियोंका परिवार लिये इच्छानुसार पृथ्वीमें भ्रमण करता था ।।२१।। उत्तम विमानपर आरूढ तथा उत्तम विभूतिसे युक्त श्रीमान् हनूमान् उत्तम वन आदि प्रदेशोंमें देवके समान क्रीड़ा करता था ॥२२॥
___ अथानन्तर किसी समय जगत्के उन्मादका कारण, फूलोंसे सुशोभित एवं प्रिय सुगन्धित वायुके संचारसे युक्त वसन्तऋतु आई ॥२३॥ सो उस समय जिनेन्द्र भक्तिसे जिसका चित्त व्याप्त था ऐसा हर्षसे भरा हनूमान् अन्तःपुरके साथ मेरुपर्वतकी ओर चला ॥२४॥ वह बीचमें नाना प्रकारके फूलोंसे मनोहर और देवोंके द्वारा सेवित कुलाचलोंके शिखरोंपर ठहरता जाता था ॥२५॥ जिनमें मदोन्मत्त भ्रमर और कोयलोंके समह शब्द कर रहे थे, तथा जो मनोहर सरोवरोंसे दर्शनीय थे ऐसे अनेकों वन, पत्र, पुष्प और फलोंके कारण जो स्त्री-पुरुष के युगलसे
