________________ २८४ पद्मपुराणे का . दोषाब्धिमग्नकस्यापि विवेकर हितस्य मे । उपसन्नस्य सुश्लाघ्ये प्रसीद क्रोधमुत्सृज ||७०॥ ततो जगाद वैदेही राजन्नवास्मि कस्यचित् । कुपिता किं विषादं त्वमीदृशं समुपागतः 11७१।। न कश्चिदत्र ते दोपस्तीब्रो जानपदो न च । स्वकर्मणा फलं दत्तमिदं मे परिपाकिना ॥७२॥ बलदेव प्रसादात्ते भोगा भु सुरोपमाः । अधुना तदहं कुर्वे जाये स्त्री न यतः पुनः ॥७३।। एतै विनाशिभिः क्षुदैरवसन्नैः सुदारुणैः । किं वा प्रयोजनं भोगैमूढमानवसेवितैः ॥७॥ योनिलक्षाध्वसङक्रान्त्या खेदं प्राप्ताऽस्म्यनुत्तमम् । साहं दुःखक्षयाकांक्षा दीक्षां जैनेश्वरीं भजे ॥७५।। इत्युक्त्वाऽभिनवाशोकपल्लवोपमपाणिना। मूर्द्धजान् स्वयमुद्धृत्य पनायाऽयदस्पृहा ।।६।। इन्द्रनीलग्रुतिच्छायान् सुकुमारान् मनोहरान् । केशान्वीच्य ययौ मोहं रामोऽपतच्च भूतले ॥७७।। यावदाश्वासनं तस्य प्रारब्धं चन्दनादिना । पृथ्वीमत्यार्यया तावद्दीक्षिता जनकात्मजा ॥८॥ ततो दिव्यानुभावेन सा विघ्नपरिवर्जिता । संवृत्ता श्रमणा साध्वी वस्त्रमात्रपरिग्रहा ।।७।। महावतपवित्राङ्गा महासंवेगसङ्ग ता । देवासुरसमायोगं ययौ चोद्यानमुत्तमम् ।।८।। पमो मौक्तिकगोशीर्षतालवृन्तानिलादिभिः । सम्प्राप्तस्पष्टचैतन्यस्तहिन्यस्त निरीक्षणः ॥८॥ अदृष्ट्रा राघवः सीतां शून्याभूतदशाशकः। शोककोपकपायात्मा समारुह्य महागजम् ॥२॥ समुच्छ्रितसितच्छत्रश्चामरोत्करवीजितः । नरेन्द्ररिन्द्रवहे वैव॒तो हस्तितलाङ्गलः॥३॥ प्रौढकोकनदच्छायः क्षणसंवृतलोचनः । उदात्तनिनदोऽवोचद्वचोऽपि निजभीतिदम् ॥४॥ सब मनोरथ सिद्ध हुए हैं ॥६६॥ हे प्रशंसनीये ! मैं दोष रूपी सागरमें निमग्न हूँ तथा विवेकसे रहित हूँ । अब तुम्हारे समीप आया हूँ सो प्रसन्न होओ और क्रोधका परित्याग करो ॥५०॥ तदनन्तर सीताने कहा कि हे राजन् ! मैं किसी पर कुपित नहीं हूँ, तुम इस तरह विषाद को क्यों प्राप्त हो रहे हो ? ॥७१।। इसमें न तुम्हारा दोष है न देशके अन्य लोगोंका। यह तो परि पाकमें आनेवाले अपने कर्मके द्वारा दिया हुआ फल है ।।७२।। हे बलदेव ! मैंने तुम्हारे प्रसादसे देवोंके समान भोग भोगे हैं इसलिए उनकी इच्छा नहीं । अब तो वह काम करूँगी जिससे फिर स्त्री न होना पड़े ॥७३॥ इन विनाशी, तुद्र प्राप्त हुए आकुलतामय अत्यन्त कठोर एवं मूखे मनुष्यों के द्वारा सेवित इन भोगांसे मुझे क्या प्रयोजन है ? ||७४।। लाखों योनियोंके मार्ग में भ्रमण करती करती इस भारी दुःखको प्राप्त हुई हूँ । अब मैं दुःखोंका क्षय करनेकी इच्छासे जैनेश्वरी दीक्षा धारण करती हूँ ॥७५॥ यह कह उसने निःस्पृह हो अशोकके नवीन पल्लव तुल्य हाथसे स्वयं केश उखाड़ कर रामके लिए दे दिये ।।७६॥ इन्द्रनील मणिके समान कान्ति वाले अत्यन्त कोमल मनोहर केशीको देख राम मूर्छाको प्राप्त हो पृथिवी पर गिर पड़े ॥७७।। इधर जब तक चन्दन आदिके द्वारा रामको सचेत किया जाता है तब तक सीता पृथ्वीमति आर्यिकासे दीक्षित हो गई ॥७॥ तदनन्तर देवकृत प्रभावसे जिसके सब विघ्न दूर हो गये थे ऐसी पतिव्रता सीमा वस्त्रमात्र परिग्रहको धारण करने बालो आर्यिका हो गई ॥६॥ महावतोंके द्वारा जिसका शरीर पवित्र हो चुका था तथा जो महासंवेगको प्राप्त थी ऐसी सीता देव और असुरोंके समागमसे सहित उत्तम उद्यानमें चली गई ।।८।। इधर मोतियोंकी माला, गोशीर्षचन्दन तथा व्यजन आदिको वायुसे जब रामकी मूर्छा दूर हुई तब वे उसी दिशाकी ओर देखने लगे परन्तु वहाँ सीताको न देख उन्हें दशों दिशाएँ शून्य दिखने लगीं। अन्तमें शोक और क्रोधके कारण कलुषित चित्त होते हुए महागज पर सवार हो चले ।।८१-८२।। उस समम उनके शिर पर सफेद छत्र फहरा रहा था, चमरों के समूह ढौरे जा रहे थे, तथा वे स्वयं अनेक राजाओंसे घिरे हुए थे। इसलिए देवोंसे १. तावदीक्षिता म०। २. दशांशकः म०। ३. हस्तितलायतःमः। Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
