1. In the city of Padmapurana, which is like the city of Indra, the Vidyadharas lived happily on the banks of the rivers and lakes.
2. They were adorned with divine ornaments, betel leaves, clothes, garlands, and perfumes. They sported there with their wives, just like the celestial beings.
3. Seeing the lotus-like face of Vaidehi (Sita), Rama was not satisfied.
4. Rama, along with his beloved Rama (Sita), enjoyed blissfully on those enchanting lands without any interruption.
5. Likewise, Narayana (Krishna), who had attained all desired objects, engaged in amorous play with the beautiful Vishalya.
6. Though they sometimes thought "we will go tomorrow", the supreme love of Vibhishana and others made them forget this intention.
7. The years of enjoyment of love and sensual pleasures by Rama and Lakshmana passed like a single day, so much they were absorbed in happiness.
8. Then, remembering the beautiful characteristics of Lakshmana, he sent Viradhi to the cities of Kubera and others.
9. That highly accomplished Viradhi, being an expert in all rituals, went and showed the signs to the princesses, one by one.
10. Filled with joy from this good news, and with the permission of their parents, those princesses came there with their suitable entourage.
11. Among them were the beautiful daughter of the lord of Dasanga city, the daughter of Valikhilya, the lord of Kubera's city, and the daughter of the king of Prithvipura.
12. Also, the famous daughter of the king of Kshemanjalapura, named Jitapadma, came there.
13. These princesses from cities like Ujjayini had attained such an excellent husband due to the merit accumulated in their past lives.
