जितसमदन हंस स्त्रीगतिः सुन्दरभू
कुल सुरभिवक्त्रामोदबद्धालिवृन्दा ॥१६७॥ अतिमृदुभुजमाला 'शक्रशरस्त्राणुमध्या
प्रवरसरसरम्भास्तम्भसाम्यस्थितोरुः । स्थलकमलसमानोत्तुङ्ग पृष्ठोज्ज्वलाटिनः
प्रभवदति विशालच्छायवक्षोजयुग्मा ॥ १६८ ॥ प्रवरभवनकुक्षिष्वत्युदारेषु कान्त्या
विविधविहितमार्गा लब्धवर्णा परं सा ।

सततमुपगतान्तः सप्तकन्याशताना
मतिशय रमणीयं शास्त्रमार्गेण रेमे ॥ १६९॥ अपि दिनकरदीप्तिः कौमुदी चन्द्रकान्तिः
सुरपतिमहिषी वा कापि वा सा सुभद्रा ।
न्नियतमतिमनोज्ञास्तास्ततो वेदनीयाः ॥ १७० ॥ विधिरिव रतिदेव कामदेवस्य बुद्ध्या दशरथतनयस्याकल्पयत्पूर्वजस्य । जनकनरपतिस्तां सर्वविज्ञानयुक्तां
ननु रविकरसङ्गस्योचिता पद्मलक्ष्मीः ॥ १७१ ॥ इत्यार्षे रविषेणाचर्यप्रोक्ते पद्मचरिते सीताभामण्डलोत्पत्त्यभिधानं नाम षड्विशतितमं पर्व || २६ ॥

यदि भजति तदीयासङ्गशोभां कथंचि
हाथ पल्लबके समान लाल कान्तिके धारक थे, वह नील मणिके समान कान्तिके धारक केशोंके समूह से मनोहर थी, उसने कामोन्मत्त हंसिनीकी चालको जीत लिया था, उसकी भौंहें सुन्दर थीं तथा मौलिश्री के समान सुगन्धित उसके मुखके सुवाससे उसके पास भौंरोंके समूह मँडराते रहते थे || १६७ | उसकी भुजाएँ अत्यन्त सुकुमार थीं, उसकी कमर वज्रके समान पतली थी, उसकी जाँघें उत्तम सरस के लेके स्तम्भके समान सुन्दर थीं, उसके पैर स्थल-कमल के समान उन्नत पृष्ठभाग से सुशोभित थे और उसके उठते हुए स्तनयुगल अत्यधिक कान्तिसे युक्त थे || १६८ || वह विदुषी जानकी उत्तमोत्तम राजमहलोंके विशाल कोष्ठों में अपनी कान्तिसे विविध मार्ग बनाती हुई सात सौ कन्याओंके मध्य में स्थित हो बड़ी सुन्दरताके साथ शास्त्रानुसार क्रीड़ा करती थी ||१६९ || यदि सूर्यको प्रभा, चन्द्रमाकी चांदनी, इन्द्रकी इन्द्राणी, और चक्रवर्तीकी पट्टरानी सुभद्रा किसी तरह जानकी के शरीरकी शोभा प्राप्त कर सकतीं तो वे निश्चित ही अपने पूर्वरूपकी अपेक्षा अधिक सुन्दर होतीं ॥ १७० ॥ जिस प्रकार विधाताने रतिको कामदेवकी पत्नी निश्चित किया था, उसी प्रकार राजा जनकने सर्व प्रकार के विज्ञानसे युक्त सीताको राजा दशरथ के प्रथम पुत्र रामकी पत्नी निश्चित किया था सो ठीक ही है क्योंकि कमलोंकी लक्ष्मी सूर्यको किरणोंके साथ सम्पर्क करने योग्य ही है || १७१ ।।
इस प्रकार आर्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध रविषेणाचार्य के द्वारा प्रोक्त पद्मचरित में सीता और मामण्डलकी उत्पत्तिका कथन करनेवाला छब्बीसवाँ पर्व समाप्त हुआ ॥ २६ ॥

the beauty of Janaki's form, they would undoubtedly be more beautiful than before. || 170 ||

so King Janaka rightly designated Sita, who is endowed with all knowledge,
as the wife of Rama, the first son of King Dasharatha,
since the goddess of the lotuses (Lakshmi) is indeed suited to contact the rays of the sun. || 171 ||
