________________ ११८ पद्मपुराणे सागारेण जनः स्वर्गे भुक्ते भोगान्महागुणान् । देवीनिवहमध्यस्थो मानसेन समाहृतान् ॥२९६॥ निर्वाससा तु धर्मेण मोक्षं प्राप्नोति मानवः । अनौपम्यमनाबाधं सुखं यत्रान्तवर्जितम् ॥२९७॥ स्वर्गगास्तु पुनश्च्युत्वा प्राप्य दैगम्बरी क्रियाम् । द्विवैः प्रपद्यन्ते प्रकृष्टाः परमं पदम् ॥२९८॥ काकतालीययोगेन प्राप्ता अपि सुरालयम् । कुयोनिषु पुनः पापा भ्रमन्त्येव कुतीर्थिनः ॥२९९॥ जैनमेवोत्तमं वाक्यं जैनमेवोत्तमं तपः । जैन एव परो धर्मो जैनमेव परं मतम् ॥३०॥ नगरं व्रजतः पुंसो वृक्षमूलादिसंगमः । नान्तरीयकतामेति यथा खेदनिवारणः ॥३०॥ प्रस्थितस्य तथा मोक्षं जिनशासनवर्मना । देवविद्याधरादिश्रीरनुषङ्गेण जायते ॥३०२। विबुधेन्द्रादिभोगानां हेतुत्वं यत्प्रपद्यते । जिनधर्मो न तच्चित्रं ते ह्यस्मात् सुकृतादपि ॥३०॥ विपरीतं यदेतस्माद् गृहिश्रमणधर्मतः । चरितं तस्य संज्ञानमैधर्म इति कीर्तितम् ॥३०४।। भ्रमन्ति येन तिर्यक्षु नानादुःखप्रदायिषु । वाहनात्ताडनाच्छेदाभेदाच्छीतोष्णसंगमात् ॥३०५।। नित्यान्धकारयुक्तेषु नरकेषु च भूरिषु । तुषारपवनाघातकृतकम्पेषु केषुचित् ॥३०६॥ स्फुरत्स्फुलिङ्गरौद्राग्निज्वालालीढेषु केषुचित् । नानाकारमहारावयन्त्रव्याप्तेषु केषुचित् ॥३०॥ सिंहव्याघ्रकश्येनगृद्धरुद्धेषु केषुचित् । चक्रक्रकचकुन्तासिमोचिवृक्षेषु केषुचित् ॥३०॥ शिखर अर्थात् मोक्ष प्राप्त हो जाता है उस धर्मका और दूसरा कौन उत्कृष्ट गुण कहा जावे? अर्थात् धर्मका सर्वोपरि गुण यही है कि उससे मोक्ष प्राप्त हो जाता है ।।२९५।। गृहस्थ धर्मके द्वारा यह मनुष्य स्वर्गमें देवीसमूहके मध्यमें स्थित हो संकल्प मात्रसे प्राप्त उत्तमोत्तम भोगोंको भोगता है और मुनि धर्मके द्वारा उस मोक्षको प्राप्त होता है जहाँ कि इसे अनुपम, निर्बाध तथा अनन्त सुख मिलता है ।।२९६-२९७।। स्वर्गगामी उत्कृष्ट मनुष्य स्वर्गसे च्युत होकर पुनः मुनिदीक्षा धारण करते हैं और दो तीन भवोंमें हो परम पद-मोक्ष प्राप्त कर लेते हैं ।।२९८॥ परन्तु जो पापीमिथ्यादृष्टि जीव हैं वे काकतालीयन्यायसे यद्यपि स्वर्ग प्राप्त कर लेते हैं तो भी वहाँसे च्युत हो कुयोनियोंमें ही भ्रमण करते रहते हैं ।।२९९|| जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के द्वारा कथित वाक्य अर्थात् शास्त्र ही उत्तम वाक्य हैं, जिनेन्द्र भगवान के द्वारा निरूपित तप ही उत्तम तप है, जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के द्वारा प्रोक्त धर्म ही परम धर्म है और जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के द्वारा उपदिष्ट मत ही परम मत है ॥३००। जिस प्रकार नगरकी ओर जानेवाले पुरुषको खेद निवारण करनेवाला जो वृक्षमूल आदिका संगम प्राप्त होता है वह अनायास ही प्राप्त होता है उसी प्रकार जिन शासन रूपी मार्गसे मोक्षकी ओर प्रस्थान करनेवाले पुरुषको जो देव तथा विद्याधर आदिकी लक्ष्मी प्राप्त होती है वह अनुषंगसे ही प्राप्त होती है उसके लिए मनुष्यको प्रयत्न नहीं करना पड़ता है ॥३०१-३०२।। 'जिनधर्म, इन्द्र आदिके भोगोंका कारण होता है' इसमें आश्चर्यकी बात नहीं है क्योंकि इन्द्र आदिके भोग तो साधारण पुण्य मात्रसे भी प्राप्त हो जाते हैं ॥३०३।। इस गृहस्थ और मुनिधर्मके विपरीत जो भी आचरण अथवा ज्ञान है वह अधर्म कहलाता है ।।३०४|| इस अधर्मके कारण यह जीव वाहन, ताडन, छेदन, भेदन तथा शीत उष्णकी प्राप्ति आदि कारणोंसे नाना दुःख देनेवाले तिथंचोंमें भ्रमण करता है ॥३०५।। इसी अधर्मके कारण यह जीव निरन्तर अन्धकारसे युक्त रहनेवाले अनेक नरकोंमें भ्रमण करता है। इन नरकोंमें कितने ही नरक तो ऐसे हैं जिनमें ठण्डी हवाके कारण निरन्तर शरीर काँपता रहता हैं। कितने ही ऐसे हैं जो निकलते हुए तिलगोंसे भयंकर दिखनेवाली अग्निकी ज्वालाओंसे व्याप्त हैं। कितने ही ऐसे हैं जो नाना प्रकारके महाशब्द करनेवाले यन्त्रोंसे व्याप्त हैं । कितने ही ऐसे हैं जो विक्रियानिर्मित सिंह, व्याघ्र, वृक, वाज तथा गीध आदि जीवोंसे भरे हुए हैं । कितने ही ऐसे हैं जो चक्र, करौंत, भाला, तलवार आदिकी वर्षा १. निवारिणः म., क. । २. जिनधर्मान्न ख. । ३. संज्ञा न धर्म म. । Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org,
