Fourth chapter, the forty-second hundred of the victorious one in the directions. That is described by the four directions. That is combined with two, ninety-two hundred. There would be the retinue of Indra in the thirteenth hell.
The Śreṇīndras and other munis would be with the thousands of Indras. Thirty-three, four-pronged, four in total. Those who are ninety-five thousand five hundred, they too are scattered in seventy-seven hundreds.
The forty-second hundred in the directions, that of Taraka, is four less in the directions. In the directions, it is thirty-two, with four at the end.
The forty-second hundred in the directions, that of Stanaka, is the whole, two hundred with seventy-six.
The thirty-second hundred in the directions, that of Manaka, is the whole, two hundred with sixty-eight.
The thirty-second hundred in the directions, that of Vanaka, is the whole, two hundred with sixty.
The twenty-eighth hundred in the directions, that of Ghāṭa, is the whole, two hundred with fifty-two.
The twenty-fourth hundred in the directions, that of Saṃghāṭa, is four, forty hundred.
In the directions, the hundred is known as Poḍaśāna, sixteen in the directions. That of Jihvā, the whole, two hundred with thirty-six.
The sixteen hundred in the directions, that of Jihvakāvya, would be combined, two hundred with twenty-eight.
The twelve-headed hundred in the directions, in the directions eight more, that of Lola, the whole, two hundred with twenty.
The eight-plus-hundred in the directions, four more in the directions, that of Lolupa, the whole, two hundred with twelve.
And by the four hundreds in the directions, a hundred extended in the directions, that of Tanulolapūrva, four-combined, two hundred.
And the victorious Indra named Vikrānta of the thirteenth extension, there are one hundred forty-two in the directions, one hundred forty-four in the directions, and together two hundred ninety-six Śreṇivaddha vihāras.
Thus, the total Śreṇivaddha vihāras of the thirteen extensions are four thousand four hundred twenty, the Indra vihāras are thirteen, and the total of Śreṇivaddha and Indra is four thousand four hundred thirty-three vihāras. Apart from these, there are thirty-nine lakh ninety-five thousand five hundred sixty-six prākīrṇaka vihāras. Thus, the total in the first earth is thirty lakh vihāras.
