अत्र शिद्धशिलां वन्द्यां वन्दित्वा च स्थिता सती । कृत्वा नीळगुहायां सा सती सल्लेखनां मृता ॥३७॥ अच्युतेन्द्रमहादेवी नाम्ना गगनवल्लमा । वल्लभामवदुत्कृष्टस्त्रीस्थितिस्तत्र देव्यसौ ||३८|| ततोऽवतीर्य भीष्मस्य श्रीमत्यां वं सुताभवः । नगरे कुण्डिनाभिख्ये रुक्मिणी रुक्मिणः स्वसा ||३९|| कृत्वा चात्र भवे भव्ये प्रव्रज्यां विबुधोत्तमः । च्युत्वा तपश्च कृत्वात्र नैर्ग्रन्थ्यं मोक्ष्यसे ध्रुवम् ॥४०॥ भीष्मा भीष्मसंसारभीरुराकर्ण्य सा भवान् । ज्ञात्वासन्नस्वमोक्षातिं प्रणनाम प्रभु मुदा ॥ ४१॥ जाम्बवत्या जिनः पृष्टस्तस्याः प्राह पुराभवम् । संसारमयभीतानां सन्निधौ निखिलाङ्गिनाम् ॥४२॥ सुतासीत् पुष्कलावत्या जम्बूद्वीपस्य देविलात् । नगयां वीतशोकायां देवमत्यां यशस्विनी ॥ ४३ ॥ गृहपत्यात्मजायास "गृहपस्य शरीरजा । दत्ता सुमित्रसंज्ञाय मृते तत्र सुदुःखिता ॥४४॥ जैन जिनदेवेन जिनधर्मोपदेशिना । शाम्यमाना न सम्यक्त्वं लेभे मोहोदयादसौ ॥४५॥ दानोपवासविधिना लौकिकेन मृता सती । नन्दने व्यन्तरस्यासीत् सा भार्या मेरुनन्दना ॥ ४६॥ त्रिंशद्वर्षसहस्राणि लब्धाशीतियुतानि तत् । भोगं भुक्त्वा चिरं कालं संसारं संससार सा ॥४७॥ gistraतक्षेत्रे पुरे विजयपूर्वके । बन्धुषेणस्य भूपस्य बन्धुमत्याः सुताभवत् ॥४८॥ नाम्ना बन्धुयशाः कन्या श्रोमत्या प्रोषधव्रतम् । कन्यया जिनदेवस्य प्रतिपद्य मृताभवत् ॥ ४९ ॥ धनदस्य प्रिया पत्नी नामतः सा स्वयंप्रभा । च्युत्वातः पुण्डरीकिण्यां जम्बूद्वीपे पृथौ पुरि ॥ ५० ॥
राजगृह नगर चलो गयो ||३६|| वहाँ वन्दना करने योग्य जो सिद्धशिला थी उसकी वन्दना कर वहीं नीलगुहा में रहने लगी और सल्लेखना धारण कर मृत्युको प्राप्त हुई ||३७|| मरकर वह सोलहवें स्वर्गमें अच्युतेन्द्रकी गगनवल्लभा नामकी अतिशय प्रिय महादेवी हुई । सोलहवें स्वर्ग में स्त्रियोंकी उत्कृष्ट स्थिति पचपन पल्यकी है सो वह उसी उत्कृष्ट स्थितिकी धारक हुई थी ||३८|| वहाँ से चय कर तू कुण्डिनपुर में राजा भीष्मकी श्रीमती रानीसे रुक्मीकी बहन रुक्मिणी नामकी पुत्री हुई है ||३९|| इस उत्तम पर्याय में तू दीक्षा धारण कर उत्तम देव होगी और वहांसे च्युत हो निर्ग्रन्थ तपश्चरण कर निश्चित ही मोक्ष प्राप्त करेगी ||४०|| अपने पूर्व भव सुनकर रुक्मिणी भयंकर संसार से भयभीत गयी और अपने लिए निकट कालमें मोक्ष प्राप्त होगा यह जानकर बड़े हर्षसे उसने भगवान्‌को नमस्कार किया ||४१ ||
तदनन्तर कृष्णकी तीसरी पट्टरानी जाम्बवतीने श्री नेमिजिनेन्द्र से अपने पूर्वभव पूछे सो संसारसे भयभीत समस्त प्राणियोंके समक्ष वे उसके पूर्वंभव इस प्रकार कहने लगे ||४२|| जम्बूद्वीपकी पुष्कलावती देशमें एक वीतशोका नामकी नगरी थी। उसमें देविल नामका एक गृहस्थ रहता था । उसकी देवमती नामको स्त्रीसे तु यशस्विनी नामकी पुत्री हुई थी ||४३|| यशस्विनी, गृहपति ( गहोई ) की लड़की थी और गृहपति ( गहोई ) के पुत्र सुमित्र के लिए दी गयी थी । परन्तु पतिके मर जानेपर वह बहुत दुःखी हुई || ४४ || जिनधर्मका उपदेश देनेवाले किसी जिनदेव नामक जेनने उसे उपदेश देकर शान्त किया परन्तु मोहके उदयसे वह सम्यग्दर्शनको प्राप्त नहीं कर सकी || ४५ ॥ वह पतिव्रता लौकिक दान तथा उपवास करती रही और उनके प्रभावसे मरकर नन्दन वनमें व्यन्तर देवकी मेरुनन्दना नामकी स्त्री हुई || ४६ || तीस हजार अस्सी वर्ष तक वहाँके भोग भोगकर वह चिर काल तक संसार में परिभ्रमण करती रही ||४७|| तदनन्तर इसी जम्बूद्वीपके ऐरावत क्षेत्र में विजयपुर नगरके राजा बन्धुषेणकी बन्धुमती नामक स्त्रीसे बन्धुयशा नामकी कन्या हुई । बन्धुयशाने कन्या अवस्था में ही श्रीमती नामक आर्यिकासे जिनदेव प्ररूपित प्रोषधव्रत धारण किया था इसलिए वह मरकर कुबेरको स्वयंप्रभा नामकी स्त्री हुई। आयुके अन्तमें वहाँसे च्युत हो

Here, having worshipped the venerable Siddhashila, she remained there and, having performed Sallekhana in the Neelaguha, she died. ||37||

From there, she descended and became the daughter of the noble queen of King Bhishma in the city of Kundinapur, named Rukmini, the sister of Rukmi. ||39||

In the Pushkalavati country of Jambudvipa, there was a city called Vitashoka. In it, there lived a householder named Devila. He had a daughter named Yashasvini, born to his wife, Devamati. ||43||

Yashasvini was the daughter of the Grihapati (Gahoi) and was given to the son of the Grihapati (Gahoi), named Sumit. But she was very sad when her husband died. ||44||

A certain Jinadeva, who preached the Jina dharma, comforted her with his teachings, but due to the rise of delusion, she did not attain right faith. ||45||

She practiced the worldly practices of charity and fasting, and due to their influence, she died and became the wife of Merunandana, a Vyantara deva in the Nandana forest. ||46||

She enjoyed the pleasures there for thirty thousand and eighty years, and for a long time, she wandered in samsara. ||47||

Then, in the same Jambudvipa, in the Airavata region, in the city of Vijayapur, she was born as the daughter of Bandhumati, the wife of King Bandhushena. She was named Bandhuyasha.
