हरिवंशपुराणे पूर्वाह्नेऽश्वयुजस्यातः शुक्लप्रतिपदि प्रभुः । शुक्लध्यानाग्निना दग्ध्वा चतुर्घातिमहावनम् ।।११२।। अनन्तकेवलज्ञानदर्शनादिचतुष्टयम् । त्रैलोक्येन्द्रासनाकम्पि संप्रापत्परदुर्लभम् ॥११३॥

जैनी कैवल्यलब्धि सकलसुरगणा द्राग्विदित्वा यथास्वम् । इन्द्राः सिंहासनोच्चैर्मुकुटविचलनैः स्वान् प्रयुज्यावधीन् स्वैः
प्राप्तानीकैः सहायुः क्षुमितसलिलधिवातविद्भिस्त्रिलोक्याः ।।११।। आपूवार्यवेगैर्गननजलनिधिं वाहनाना समूहै।
सप्तानीकैरनेकैस्त्रिदशपतिगणस्तं परीत्य प्रपेदे । प्रोच्चैर्मूर्धावलेप गिरिपतिमधिपस्नानकल्याणमात्रं
भूयः कल्याणकण्ठे गुणभरणगुणादूर्जयन्तं जयन्तम् ।।११५।। मन्दारादि दुमाणां सुरमितककुमा पुष्पवृष्टया सुराणां
दिव्यस्त्रीगीतमुर्छन्मुखरितभुवनैर्दुन्दुभीनां निनादैः । भेत्रा लोकस्य शोकं फलकुसुमभृताशोकशाखाभृता च
___ श्वेतच्छत्रप्रयेण त्रिभुवनविभुताचिह्वभूतोरुभूम्ना ॥११६।। हंसालीपातलीलैध लिखचलैश्चामराणां सहस्रः
भाभिर्मामण्डलेन प्रतिहतविकसद्भानुमामण्डलेन ।
अवस्थाके छप्पन दिन समीचीन तपश्चरणके द्वारा व्यतीत किये ।।१११।। तदनन्तर आश्विन शुक्ल प्रतिपदाके दिन प्रातःकालके समय भगवानने शक्लध्यानरूपी अग्निके द्वारा चार घातियारूपी महावनको जलाकर तीन लोकके इन्द्रोंके आसन कंपा देनेवाले एवं अन्य जनदुर्लभ, केवलज्ञान, केवलदर्शन आदि अनन्तचतुष्टय प्राप्त किये ॥११२-११३॥ घण्टाओंके शब्द, विशाल सिंहनाद, दुन्दुभियोंके स्पष्ट शब्द और शंखोंकी भारी आवाजसे समस्त देवोंने शीघ्र ही निश्चय कर लिया कि जिनेन्द्र भगवान्को केवलज्ञान प्राप्त हो गया है तथा इन्द्रोंने भी सिंहासन और उन्नत मुकुटोंके कम्पित होनेसे अपने-अपने अवधिज्ञानका प्रयोग कर उक्त बातका ज्ञान कर लिया। तदनन्तर तीनों लोकोंके इन्द्र, समुद्रोंके समूहको क्षभित करनेवाली अपनी-अपनी सेनाओंके साथ गिरनार पर्वतकी ओर चल पड़े ॥११४॥
उस समय इन्द्रोंने अवार्य वेगसे युक्त वाहनोंके समूह और सात प्रकारकी अनेक सेनाओंसे आकाशरूपी समुद्रको व्याप्त कर दिया और आकर गिरनार पर्वतको तीन प्रदक्षिणाएं दीं। उस समय वह पर्वत, ऊंचे शिखरका अभिमान धारण करनेवाले गिरिराज-सुमेरु पर्वतको भी जीत रहा था क्योंकि सुमेरु पर्वतपर तो भगवान्का मात्र जन्मकल्याणक सम्बन्धी अभिषेक हुआ था और गिरनार पर्वतपर दीक्षाकल्याणकके बाद पुनः ज्ञानकल्याणक होनेसे अनेक गुण प्रकट हुए थे ॥११५।। देवलोग, दिशाओंको सुगन्धित करनेवाले मन्दार आदि वृक्षोंके फूलोंकी वर्षा करने लगे। देवांगनाओंके सुन्दर संगीतसे मिश्रित दुन्दुभियोंके शब्द संसारको मुखरित करने लगे। लोगोंके शोकको नष्ट करनेवाला फल और फूलोंसे युक्त अशोक वृक्ष प्रकट हो गया। तीन लोककी विभुताके चिह्नस्वरूप श्वेत छत्रत्रय सिरपर फिरने लगे। हंसावलीके पातके समान सुशोभित एवं पर्वतको भूमिको सफेद करनेवाले हजारों चमर ढलने लगे। अपनी कान्तिसे देदीप्यमान सूर्यको प्रभाके समूहको पराजित करनेवाला भामण्डल प्रकट हो गया। नाना रत्नसमूहकी किरणोंसे १. -वद्भिः म. । २. -रनीकैः म. ।
