हरिवंशपुराणे अनुत्तरमुखोल्ज्वलः शिवपदोत्तमाङ्गस्तदा नवानुदिशसद्धनुर्नवविमानकग्रीवकः । सुकल्पवपुरन्तराधरजगत्कटीजङ्घकस्त्रिलोकपुरुषोऽचलस्कटिकरो नटिस्वा स्फुटम् ॥१३॥ अभूद्भवनवासिनां जगति तारशङ्कस्वनो रराट पटहः पटुटिति भौमलोकेऽखिले । रवेर्जगति सिंहनाद उरुघोषघण्टानदासुकल्पभवने जिनप्रभववैभवाद्वै स्वयम् ॥१४॥ जगस्त्रितयवासिनश्चलितमौलिसिंहासनास्ततोऽसुरसुराधिपाः प्रणिहितावधिस्वेक्षणाः । प्रबुध्य जिनजन्म जातपुरुसंमदाः संपदा प्रचेलुरिह भारतं प्रति चतुर्णिकायामरैः ॥१५॥ विशुद्धतमदृष्टयो मुकुट कोटिसंघट्टित-स्फुरस्कटकरवरश्मिखचिताखिलाशामुखाः । प्रणेमुरहमिन्द्रदेवनिवहास्तु तत्र स्थिताः पदान्यभिसमेत्य सप्त हरिविष्टरेभ्यो जिनम् ॥१६॥ क्षितेरसुरनागविद्युदनलानिलद्वीपसत्सुपर्णसुमहोदधिस्तनितदिक्कुमाराभिधाः । समुद्ययुरितस्ततो भवनवासिनो भास्वरास्तदा विदधतो दिशो दश दशप्रकारामराः ॥१७॥ सुकिंपुरुषकिन्नरामरमहोरगा राक्षसाः पिशाचसुरभूरिभूतवरयक्षगन्धर्वकाः । मनोहरणदक्षगीतबहनृत्युक्ताङ्गनाः समीयुरिह मध्यलोकरतयोऽष्टधा व्यन्तराः ॥१८॥ गणश्च शुचिशोचिषां प्रथितपञ्चधाज्योतिषां ग्रहसंशशिमास्करप्रतततारकाख्यापुषाम् ।
बभौ युगपदापतन्नि जविमानकेभ्योऽधिकं विधातुमिव चोद्यतो जगदिहापरं ज्योतिषाम् ॥१९॥ हो ॥१२।। जो अनुत्तर विमानरूपी मुखसे उज्ज्वल था, मोक्षरूपी मस्तकसे सहित था, नो अनुदिशरूपी ठोड़ोसे युक्त था, नौ ग्रेवेयकरूपी ग्रीवाको धारण करनेवाला था, स्वर्गरूपी शरीरसे सहित था, तथा मध्यम लोकरूपी कमर और अधोलोकरूपी जंघाओंसे युक्त था ऐसा तीन लोकरूपी पुरुष उस समय चंचल हो उठा था सो ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो कमरपर हाथ रखकर नृत्य ही कर रहा हो ॥१३।। उस समय जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के जन्मके प्रभावसे भवनवासी देवोंके लोकमे अपने आप शंखोंका जोरदार शब्द होने लगा। समस्त व्यन्तर देवोंके लोकमें शीघ्र ही जोरदार पटह शब्द होने लगे । सूर्यलोकमें सिंहनाद होने लगा और कल्पवासी देवोंके भवनोंमें विशाल शब्द करनेवाले घण्टा बज उठे ।।१४।। तदनन्तर जिनके मुकुट और सिंहासन कम्पायमान हो रहे थे, जिन्होंने अपने अवधिज्ञानरूपो नेत्रको प्रयुक्त किया था, और उसके द्वारा जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के जन्मको जानकर जिन्हें अत्यधिक हर्ष उत्पन्न हुआ था, ऐसे तीनों लोकोंमें रहनेवाले सुरेन्द्र तथा असुरेन्द्र चतुर्णिकायके देवोंको साथ ले बड़ी विभूतिसे भरत क्षेत्रकी ओर चल पड़े ॥१५॥ हाथ जोड़कर मस्तकसे लगाते समय मुकुटोंके अग्रभागसे टकराये हुए कटकोंके रत्नोंको किरणोंसे जिन्होंने समस्त दिशाओंके अग्रभाग व्याप्त कर दिये थे ऐसे अत्यन्त शुद्ध सम्यग्दर्शनके धारक अहमिन्द्र देव, यद्यपि अपने-अपने हो निवासस्थानोंमें स्थित रहे थे तथापि उन्होंने सिंहासनोंसे सात कदम सामने आकर जिनेन्द्र भगवान्को नमस्कार किया था ।।१६।। असुरकुमार, नागकुमार, विद्युत्कुमार, अग्निकुमार, वायुकुमार, द्वीपकुमार, महोदधिकुमार, स्तनितकुमार और उदधिकुमार ये दश प्रकारके भवनवासो देव, दशों दिशाओंको देदीप्यमान करते हुए जहां-तहां पृथिवीसे ऊपर आने लगे ।।१७।। जिनकी स्त्रियाँ मनको हरण करने में दक्ष, गीत तथा नाना प्रकारके नृत्योंसे युक्त थीं, ऐसे किंपुरुष, किन्नर, महोरग, राक्षस, पिशाच, भूत, यक्ष और गन्धर्व ये मध्यलोकमें विशिष्ट प्रोतिके रखनेवाले आठ प्रकारके व्यन्तर देव चारों ओरसे आने लगे ॥१८॥ उज्ज्वल किरणोंसे युक्त ग्रह, नक्षत्र, चन्द्रमा, सूर्य और तारा नामको धारण करनेवाले पाँच प्रकारके प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिषो देवोंका समूह एक साथ अपने-अपने विमानोंसे यहाँ आता हुआ ऐसा सुशोभित होने लगा मानो वह पृथिवीपर एक दूसरा ही ज्योतिषलोक बनानेके लिए उद्यत हुआ हो ॥१९|| १. चतुनिकायामराः क.। २. शुचिरोचिषां म. ।

The Asura Kumaras, Naga Kumaras, Vidyut Kumaras, Agni Kumaras, Vayu Kumaras, Dvipa Kumaras, Mahodadhi Kumaras, Stanita Kumaras, and Udadhi Kumaras, these ten types of Bhavanavasi Devas, shining brightly, emerged from the earth in all ten directions. ||17||
The Kimpurushas, Kinnaras, Mahoragas, Rakshasas, Pisachas, Bhutas, Yakshas, and Gandharvas, whose women were skilled in captivating the mind, and who were adorned with songs and various dances, came from all sides, being the eight types of Vyantara Devas who resided in the Madhyaloka. ||18||
The group of the five types of famous Jyotish Devas, known as Graha, Nakshatra, Chandrama, Surya, and Tara, who were adorned with bright rays, appeared together in their Vimanas, as if they were about to create another Jyotishaloka on earth. ||19||
