करीन्द्रमकरस्फुरत्तरगतुङ्गमीनावली महारथसुयानपात्रनृपवाहिनीसंमुखैः।। विशद्भिरनुकूलगः समभिवधितोऽद्धोमिमिः समुद्रविजयोऽन्वहं पृथुसमुद्रलीला वहन् ॥७॥ जिनेशजनको जगदलयवेलयाभ्यर्चितौ परस्परविवर्धमानपृथुसंमदी नित्यशः । महेन्द्रवरशासनामिरतदेवदेवीकृतप्रभूतिविमवान्वितौ गमयतः स्म मासान्नव ॥८॥ ततः कृतसुसंगमे निशि निशाकरे चित्रया प्रशस्तसमवस्थिते अहगणे समस्ते शुभे । असूत तनयं शिवा शिवदशुद्ध वैशाखजे त्रयोदशतिथौ जगजयनकारिणं हारिणम् ॥५॥ विवोधशुचिचक्षुषा दशशताष्टसलक्षणः सुलक्षितसुनीलनीरजवपुर्वपुर्बिभ्रता । जिनेन निजैशोचिषा बहु। णीकृतं मण्डलं प्रसूतिभवनोदरे मणिगणप्रदीपार्चिषाम् ॥१०॥ विपाण्डरपयोधरा दिवमखण्डचन्द्रानना निशि स्फुरिततारकानिकरमण्डनां हारिणीम् । तरङ्गभुजपञ्जरोदरविवतिनी स्वेच्छया चुचुम्ब मदनाम्बुधिः सति जिनेन्द्रचन्द्रोदये ॥१७॥ गमीरगिरिराजनामिकुलशैलकण्ठाकुलस्तनोच्छ्वलद्वाहिनीनिवहहारभाराधरा। चचाल कृतनेर्तनेव मुदितात्र जम्बूमती समुद्रवलयाम्बरा रणितवेदिकामेखला ॥१२॥
भित हो रहा था ॥६।। हाथीरूपी मगरमच्छों, उछलते हुए उन्नत अश्वरूपी मीन-समूहों, बड़ेबड़े रथरूपी जहाजों, राजाओंकी सेनारूपो नदियों और जहां-तहां प्रवेश करते हुए मित्रोंरूपी तरंगोंसे प्रतिदिन वृद्धिको प्राप्त हए राजा समुद्रविजय उस समय सचमुच ही विशाल समुद्र की शोभाको धारण करते हुए वृद्धिंगत हो रहे थे |७|| इस प्रकार जो जगद्वलयरूपी वेलासे पूजित थे, परस्परमें जिनका विशाल हर्ष निरन्तर बढ़ रहा था और जो इन्द्रकी आज्ञामें लीन देवदेवियोंके द्वारा को हुई विभूतिसे सहित थे ऐसे भगवान्के माता-पिताने गर्भके नौ माह सानन्द व्यतीत किये ॥८॥
तदनन्तर वैशाख शुक्ल त्रयोदशीको शुभ तिथिमें रात्रिके समय जब चन्द्रमाका चित्रा नक्षत्रके साथ संयोग था और समस्त शभग्रहोंका समह जब यथायोग्य उत्तम स्थानोंपर स्थित था तब शिवादेवीने समस्त जगतको जीतनेवाले अतिशय सन्दर पत्रको उत्पन्न किया ॥९॥ जो ज्ञानरूपी उज्ज्वल नेत्रोंके धारक थे तथा एक हजार आठ लक्षणोंसे युक्त नील कमलके समान सुन्दर शरीरको धारण कर रहे थे ऐसे जिनबालकने अपनी कान्तिके द्वारा, प्रसूतिकागृहके भीतर व्याप्त मणिमय दीपकोंके कान्तिसमूहको कई गुणा अधिक कर दिया था |१०|| उस समय जिनेन्द्ररूपी चन्द्रमाका उदय होनेपर जो धवल पयोधर-मेघोंको धारण करनेवाली थो ( पक्षमें धवल स्तनोंसे युक्त थी) अखण्ड-पूर्ण चन्द्रमा ही जिसका मुख था, (पक्षमें पूर्ण चन्द्रमाके समान जिसका मुख था ), देदीप्यमान ताराओंके समूह ही जिसके आभूषण थे, ( पक्षमें देदीप्यमान ताराओंके समहके समान जिसके आभूषण थे), जो अत्यन्त सुन्दरी थी (पक्षमें हारसे सुशोभित थी), और जो तरंगरूपी भुजपंजरके मध्यमें वर्तमान थी. ऐसी-आकाशरूपी स्त्रीका मदनरूपी महासागरने अपनी इच्छानुसार चुम्बन किया था ॥११॥
उस समय जो सुमेरुरूपी गम्भीर नाभिसे युक्त थी, कुलाचलरूपी कण्ठ और स्तनोंसे सहित थी, बहती हुई नदियोंके समूहरूपी हारके भारको धारण करनेवाली थी, समुद्रका घेरा ही जिसका वस्त्र था तथा शब्दायमान वेदिका ही जिसकी मेखला थी, ऐसी जम्बूद्वीपकी भूमि चल-विचल हो गयी जिससे ऐसी जान पड़तो थी मानो हर्षके वशीभूत हो नृत्य ही कर रही

The mighty Samudravijaya, who was daily increasing in grandeur, was adorned by the waves resembling the trunks of mighty elephants, the leaping schools of high-jumping fish, the large ships like chariots, and the armies of kings like rivers - all of which were favorable to him. ||7||

The parents of the Lord of the Jinas, who were worshipped by the circle of the world at the time of dissolution, whose great pride was ever increasing, and who were endowed with the splendor bestowed by the command of the great Indra and the deities, passed nine months happily. ||8||

Then, on the auspicious thirteenth lunar day of the bright half of Vaisakha, when the moon was in conjunction with the Citra constellation and all the auspicious planets were in their proper positions, the auspicious Shiva gave birth to the son who was the conqueror of the world, the remover of sins. ||9||

The child, who had the vision of pure knowledge, who was marked with the thousand and eight auspicious signs, and whose body was beautiful like the blue lotus, illumined the multitude of gem-like lamps in the lying-in chamber with his own splendor. ||10||

At the time of the rising of the moon-like Jina, she who had white breasts, whose face was like the full moon, who was adorned with a multitude of shining stars, who was extremely beautiful, and who was situated in the cage of the waves, was willingly embraced by the ocean of love. ||11||

The earth of Jambudvipa, which had the deep navel-like mountain as its neck, which was adorned with the streams of flowing rivers like a garland, and whose girdle was the resounding platform, began to tremble as if dancing in joy. ||12||
