हरिवंशपुराणे क्षुभितमभिपतन्तं कंससैन्यं च रामः कुटिलभृकुटिमञ्चस्तम्भमुत्पाव्य कोपात् । . कुलिशसदृशघातः सर्वतो गर्वदत्तैरकृत कृतविरावं कान्दिशीकं क्षणेन ॥४६॥ यदुपु विषमदृष्टिष्वेककालं बलः स्वश्चलितजलधिनादैरुत्थितेषूद्धतेषु । क्षुमितमपि समस्तं कंसकार्ये नियुक्तं व्यनशदवशमत्तं तज्जरासन्धसैन्यम् ॥४७॥ रथमथ चतुरे इवं तावनावृष्टियुक्तौ सपदि सममिरूढी मल्लनेपथ्ययुक्तौ । सदनमगमतां तत्पैतृकं यादवोधैर्जलधिविजयपूर्वैः पूर्णमुर्वीभृदीशैः ॥४८॥ क्रमयुतमवनत्या पूजयित्वा दशाहप्रभृतिगुरुजनान् तौ तत्र दत्ताशिषौ तैः । चिरविरहजमन्तस्तापमस्तं स्वयोगप्रथमसलिलधारासंगती निन्यतुस्तम् ॥४९॥ वसुनिभवसुदेवो देवकी दात्मजस्य प्रशमितरिपुवढेवीक्ष्य विश्रब्धमास्यम् । सुखमतुलमभातामेकनासा व कन्या भुवि सुतसहजानां संप्रयोगः सुखाय ॥५०॥ गतनिगलकलङ्कः कंसशङ्काविमुक्तश्विरविरहकृशाङ्गं राज्यलक्ष्मीकलत्रम् । यदुनिवहनियोगादुग्रसेनस्तदानीमभजत मथुरायां कसमाथिप्रदत्तम् ॥५१॥ स्वजननिजवधूनां क्रन्दनायः सभावे श्रितवति लघु कंसेऽप्यङ्गसंस्कारमन्त्यम् । यदपु कुपितचित्ता प्राप जीवद्यशाश्च स्वकपितुरुपकण्ठे वाष्पसंरुद्धकण्ठा ॥५२॥
कसकी सेना क्षुभित हो सामने आयी तो उसे देख रामकी भौंहें कुटिल हो गयीं। उन्होंने उसी समय क्रोधवश मंचका एक खम्भा उखाड़ लिया और गर्वसे सब ओर दिये हुए उसके वनतुल्य कठोर आघातोंसे चिल्लाती हुई उस सेनाको क्षणभरमें खदेड़ दिया ॥४६।। कंसके कार्यमें नियुक्त जरासन्धको स्वच्छन्द एवं मदोन्मत्त सेना यद्यपि क्षुभित हुई थी तथापि ज्योंही विषम दृष्टिके धारक शक्तिशाली यादव लोग चंचल समुद्रके समान शब्द करनेवाली अपनी-अपनी सेनाओंके साथ एक ही समय उठ खड़े हुए त्योंही वह समस्त सेना नष्ट-भ्रष्ट हो गयो ॥४७॥
तदनन्तर मल्लके वेषसे युक्त दोनों भाई अनावृष्टिके साथ-साथ, चार घोड़ोंसे वाहित रथपर सवार हो अपने पिताके घर गये। पिताकां वह घर समुद्रविजय आदि राजाओं तथा अन्य अनेक यदुवंशियोंके समूहसे भरा हुआ था ॥४८|| वहाँ जाकर दोनों भाइयोंने क्रमसे समुद्रविजय आदि गुरुजनोंको नमस्कार कर उनकी पूजा की तथा गुरुजनोंने उन्हें आशीर्वाद दिया। इस प्रकार अपने संयोगरूप प्रथम जलकी धारासे युक्त दोनों भाइयोंने चिर कालके विरहसे उत्पन्न सबके मानसिक सन्तापको अस्त कर दिया ।।४९|| कुबेरकी उपमा धारण करनेवाले वसुदेव और देवकी, शत्रुरूपी अग्निको शान्त करनेवाले पुत्रके मुखको निःशंक रूपसे देखकर अनुपम सुखको प्राप्त हुए। इसी प्रकार कंसने जिसकी नाक चिपटी कर दी थी उस कन्याने भी भाईका मुख देख अनुपम सूखका अनुभव किया सो ठोक ही है क्योंकि संसारमें पुत्र-पुत्रियोंका समागम सुखके लिए होता ही है ।।५०॥ जिनकी बेड़ियोंका कलंक नष्ट हो गया था और जो कंसकी शंकासे विमुक्त हो चुके थे ऐसे राजा उग्रसेन उस समय यादवोंकी आज्ञासे कृष्णके द्वारा प्रदत्त, चिरकालीन विरहसे दुबलीपतली राज्यलक्ष्मीरूपी स्त्रीका मथुरामें पुनः उपभोग करने लगे। भावार्थ-कृष्णने राजा उग्रसेनकी बेड़ी काटकर उन्हें पुनः मथुराका राजा बना दिया और वे चिरकाल के विरहसे कृश राज्यलक्ष्मीका पन: सेवन करने लगे ॥५१॥ उधर कुटुम्बी जन तथा अपनी स्त्रियोंके रुदन आदिसे सहित कंस जब अन्तिम शारीरिक संस्कारको प्राप्त हो चुका तथा यादवोंके ऊपर जिसका चित्त अत्यन्त

Upon arriving, the two brothers, in due order, bowed down and worshipped their teachers, starting with Samudravijaya, and received their blessings. Thus, with the first stream of water of their auspicious union, they extinguished the mental anguish caused by their long separation. ||49||

Vasudeva, who was like Kubera, and Devaki, seeing the face of their son, who had extinguished the fire of the enemy, were filled with unparalleled joy. Similarly, the girl whose nose had been flattened by Kansa, experienced unparalleled joy upon seeing her brother's face, for the union of sons and daughters in the world is for happiness. ||50||

Ugrasena, whose shackles had been broken and who was freed from the fear of Kansa, now, by the order of the Yadavas, enjoyed the company of his wife, the embodiment of the prosperity of the kingdom, who had become thin due to long separation, in Mathura, which had been given to him by Krishna. ||51||

On the other hand, Kansa, who had received the final rites of the body, surrounded by his relatives and wives, and whose heart was filled with anger towards the Yadavas, was unable to speak due to the tears choking his throat. ||52||
