________________ १६० हरिवंशपुराणे चूलायां स्निग्धनीलायां पद्मरागमणिः कृतः । परभागमसौ लेभे हरिनीलमणौ यथा ॥१७॥ ललाटपट्टविन्यस्ता सितचन्दनचर्चिका । रराजार्द्वन्दुरेखेव संध्यापीताभ्रवर्तिनी ॥१७९॥ सुरत्नहेमकेयूरभूषितौ च भुजौ मृदू । रेजतुः सफणारत्नाविव बालभुजङ्गमौ ॥१८०॥ प्रकोष्ठौ ज्येष्ठमाणिक्यकटकप्रकटप्रभौ । अमातां रत्नशैलस्य तटाविव सुराश्रितौ ॥ ८१॥ स्थूलमुक्ताफलेनास्य रंजे हारेग हारिणा । वक्षःस्थलं महीध्रस्य निझरेणेव सत्तटम् ।।१८२।। बभौ प्रालम्बसूत्रेण मास्वद्गलमयेन सः । कल्पम इवाश्लिष्टः कान्तकल्पलतात्मना ।।१८३।। विचित्रस्योपरिस्थेन कटिसूत्रेण वाससः । बभौ कटीतटीवाइरभ्रस्य तडिदर्चिषा ।।१८४॥ चरणी मणिसंकीर्णरणञ्चरणभूषणौ । परस्सरसमालापं कुर्वाणाविव रेजतुः ॥१८५॥ मुद्रिकाभरणेनाभाद् रत्नहेमात्मना गलत् । स्वाङ्ग लोबहुलावण्यरक्षामुद्रीकृतेन वा ॥१८६॥ दिग्धश्चन्दनपङ्केन कुङ्कमस्थासकाचितः । संध्यापीताश्रलेशातस्फटिकादिरिवाबमौ ।।१८७॥ उत्तरीयाम्बरं स्वच्छं हंसमालोज्ज्वलं सृतः । शुशुभेऽसौ शुभाकारः शरद्धन इवानघः ॥१८८॥ संतानपारिजातादिदेवलोकतरूद्भवैः । जलस्थलोद्भवैर्नानासुरमित्रसवैः शुभैः ।। १८९।। भद्रशालवनोद्भूतै रुन्द्रनन्दनसंभवैः । पुष्पैः सौमनसोद्भूतैः सपाण्डुकवनोद्भवैः ॥१९॥ भगवान्की चिकनी एवं नीली चोटीपर धारण किया पद्मराग मणि, ऐसा वर्णोत्कर्षको प्राप्त हो रहा था मानो इन्द्रनील मणिके ऊपर ही धारण किया गया हो।१७८।। भगवान्के ललाट पटपर बनायी हुई सफेद चन्दनकी खौर, सन्ध्याके पोले बादलोंके बीच वर्तमान अर्धचन्द्रकी रेखाके समान सुशोभित हो रही थी ॥१७९।। उत्तम रत्नोंसे खचित स्वर्णमय बाजूबन्दोंसे सुशोभित उनकी दोनों कोमल भजाएँ फणाके मणियोंसे सहित दो बाल सोके समान जान पड़ती थीं ॥१८०॥ उत्तम मणिमय कड़ोंसे जिनको शोभा बढ़ रही थी ऐसी उनकी दोनों कलाइयाँ, देवोंसे आश्रित रत्नाचलके दो तटोंके समान सुशोभित हो रही थीं ॥१८१।। जिसमें बड़े-बड़े मोतो लगे हुए थे ऐसे सुन्दर हारसे उनका वक्षःस्थल उस तरह सुशोभित हो रहा था जिस तरह कि झरनेसे किसी पर्वतका उत्तम तट सुशोभित होता है ।।१८२।देदीप्यमान रत्नोंसे निर्मित प्रालम्ब सूत्रसे भगवान् उस तरह सुशोभित हो रहे थे जिस तरह कि सुन्दर कल्पलतासे वेष्टित कल्पवृक्ष सुशोभित होता है ॥१८३।। रंग-बिरंगे वस्त्र के ऊपर स्थित कटिसूत्रसे भगवानकी कटि ऐसी जान पड़तो मेघके ऊपर स्थित बिजलीकी किरणसे शोभित किसी पर्वतको तटी ही हो ॥१८४|| जिनमें रुनझन करनेवाले मणिमय आभूषण पहनाये गये थे, ऐसे उनके दोनों चरण परस्पर वार्तालाप करते हएके समान जान पड़ते थे ।।१८५।। रत्न-जटित स्वर्णमय मुदरियोंसे वे ऐसे सुशोभित हो रहे थे मानो अपनी अंगुलियोंसे टपकते हुए अत्यधिक सौन्दर्यको रक्षाके निमित्त उनपर मुद्रा (मुहर) ही लगा दी हो ॥१८६।। पहले तो भगवान्पर चन्दनका लेप लगाया और उसके ऊपर केशरके तिलक लगाये गये जिससे वे सन्ध्याकालके पोले-पीले मेघखण्डोंसे युक्त स्फटिकके पर्वतके समान सुशोभित होने लगे ॥१८७|| स्वच्छ एवं हंसमालाके समान उज्ज्वल उत्तरीय वस्त्रको धारण किये हुए भगवान् शुभ आकारवाले.शरदऋतु के निर्मल मेघके समान जान पड़ते थे।।१८८|| उस समय माला बनाने के कौशल. में अत्यन्त निपुण देवांगनाओंके द्वारा सन्तानक, पारिजात आदि देवलोकके वृक्षोंसे उत्पन्न पुष्पोंसे, जलस्थल सम्बन्धी नाना प्रकारके शुभ सुगन्धित पुष्पोंसे तथा भद्रशाल, नन्दन, सौमनस और पाण्डुक वनके पुष्पोंसे गूंथी हुई मुण्डमालाके अग्रभागको अलंकृत करनेवाली मालासे वे सुमेरुके आभूषण भगवान् १. तनौ म. । २.
