अस्मिन्नपारभववारिनिधौ मुनीश । मन्ये न मे श्रवणगोचरतां गतोसि । आकर्णिते तु तव गोत्रपवित्रमन्त्रे | किं वा विपदविषधरी सविधं समेति ||३५।। અપાર એવા સંસાર રૂપી આ મહાસાગરમાં હે મુનીશ્વર પ્રભુ ! હું માનું છું કે આપશ્રી મારા કર્ણગોચર થયા જ નથી. (અર્થાત્ ભૂતકાળમાં મેં પારમાર્થિકપણે આપશ્રીનું નામ શ્રવણગોચર કર્યું નથી એમ લાગે છે, કારણ કે પવિત્ર એવો આપશ્રીના નામ રૂપી મંત્ર જો સાંભળ્યો હોત તો વિપત્તિઓરૂપી વિષને ધારણ કરવાવાળી નાગણી (મારી) સમીપમાં કેમ આવી હોત ! તમારું નામ જેણે સાંભળ્યું હોય તેને વિપત્તિ આવે જ નહીં. રૂપા
