The rule of Sutra (36) refutes the statement of Sutra (35). Sutra (35) is entirely insignificant and unnecessary. According to the Digambara tradition, Puja Padi has extracted the following verse from the Pakhandagama 5.6.36 to clarify the rules of Pudgalik Bandha: "ṇidhdhasṣaṇidhena durādhieṇa lukkhassa lukkhēṇa ṇiddhassa lukkhēṇa habadi bandhe. jahāṇṇavajje visame je vā!" This verse includes the following points: 1. There are two qualities or more (a) in sadas (substantial) particles, it binds them, (b) in asadas (non-substantial) particles. 2. The rule does not include minimal (substantial) particles with a value (v) of asadas. This rule, which clearly explains the form of the aforementioned Pudgalik Bandha recognized by the Digambara tradition, is related to Sutras (34) and (36). It becomes clear that Sutra (35) is unnecessary because, in the Digambara view, the term used in Sutra (35) concerning Pudgalik Bandha is insignificant, thus the term must be removed from Sutra (36). As a result, there is a slight variation in the texts of Sutras 5.36 and 5.37. In this way, the contextual term of Sutra 5.35 is aligned with the present rules.| SR No. | 001074 |
