The original text of Tattvarthasutra is 405. It has been provided in a small volume. The material that has been compiled here from all sources is not sufficient, but it is not inadequate for making reasonable conclusions either. In this discussion and analysis, the Tarvathdhim Sutra [Samaddhisampada. Shri Keshavlal Premchand Medi (Kolkata, 1909) and Sarvarthasiddhi, edited by Kulchandra Siddhant Shastri (Banaras, 1971) have been utilized. I am very grateful to Dr. Krunkumar Dixit for the significant guidance provided in preparing this article.
