Chapter 10 - Sutra 7
Just as a pig is understood in three ways, an example of a trumpet and castor seeds is provided for explanation. A multi-belled trumpet remains submerged underwater, but as soon as it is removed, it naturally floats to the surface; similarly, the castor seed trapped in the hair jumps out as soon as the hair is broken. Thus, as the bondage of karma is removed, the soul ascends. [1]
Now, what are the twelve aspects to contemplate regarding the adept soul?
Field, time, movement, form, sacred place, character, each enlightened being, knowledge, penetration, inner being, numerals, and smallness and vastness are the twelve aspects to be contemplated concerning an adept soul.
The form of the adept is specifically mentioned here through these twelve aspects. Each aspect needs to be considered with regard to the nature of the adept. However, since worldly feelings like movement and form do not exist in the fully accomplished soul, there is no particular difference among them; nonetheless, from the perspective of the past, differences can still be imaginatively conceived and contemplated.
