Chapter 10 - Sutra 5-6
In the state of liberation, all other transitory aspects are absent, although the transient aspect is dependent on karma; its absence, however, does not occur in liberation. This is indicated in the sutra, which states that the destruction of non-transitory aspects, aside from transient right understanding, is the cause of liberation. While the sutra does not equate transient right belief, transient right conduct, and other transient aspects in the same way as transient right understanding, they nonetheless become included in the state of liberation due to the nature of attainment.
Now regarding the liberated soul after liberation, it is stated: "The liberated soul immediately ascends to the top after its complete disintegration." After complete disintegration, the liberated soul immediately rises to the top until the end of its connection. This happens at the same time as three events: the dissolution of the body, the attainment of perfection, and the achievement of liberation.
Now regarding the purposes of gaining perfection, it is stated: "Due to the prior application, because of non-attachment, due to the breaking of bonds, and as a result of such kinds of movement, the liberated soul ascends." Following this sutra, there are two sutras numbered seven and eight that are also important. They elaborate on the meanings and verbal expressions contained within the presented sutra's commentary.
