The Tattvarthasutra becomes completely calm. This means that its restlessness is eliminated, and it becomes unperturbed, resulting in the manifestation of knowledge devoid of all coverings. When the all-knowing God, in the process of yoga suppression, ultimately resorts to the subtle body and halts all other forms of yoga, it is referred to as the subtle activity-reverting meditation, because, in it, only subtle bodily actions like inhalation and exhalation remain, and there is no possibility of falling. When the subtle actions such as the body's inhalation and exhalation also come to a halt, revealing complete unperturbedness of the self, it is called "the meditation of the cessation of all actions," because there is neither any kind of mental, verbal, or physical action present nor does it revert back. This fourth meditation effectively suppresses all influx and bondage. As a result, all remaining karmas are weakened, and liberation is attained. In the third and fourth stages of the white meditation, there is no dependence on any kind of knowledge, hence it is also called non-dependence. Now, the right-seeing ones speak of the gradual liberation of karma as follows: 1. The sequence is considered as follows: by relying on coarse bodily yoga, the verbal and mental yoga are made subtle, then the subtle yoga of speech and mind becomes dependent on the body, making the subtle action of the body subtle; next, the subtle actions of the body become dependent on the verbal and mental subtlety and are suppressed; and finally, the subtle bodily yoga is also suppressed.
