The division of auspicious and sinful natures: The auspicious natures are those like Sadvedya, Samyaktva, Hasya, Rati, Purushaveda, Shubhayu, Shubhanama, and Shubhagotra; all others are sinful. The results of the karmas bound are not always purely auspicious or purely inauspicious, but due to the auspicious and inauspicious nature of the causes in the form of determination, both types of auspiciousness and inauspiciousness are created.

In the Digambara tradition, this verse is presented as two verses; as follows: “SasumayamatrAun Shugam! 26.” “Anyatva! 26.” In the first context, there is no mention of Samyaktva, Hasya, Rati, and Purushaveda as the four auspicious natures, and the second verse is found in the Tambarī tradition as a textual commentary rather than a verse.
The 42 auspicious natures discussed in the analysis, such as “Karma Nature,” “Navatava,” etc., are published in various texts. In the Digambara texts, the same nature is also presented as auspicious. In the verses of the Svetambara tradition, the definitions of auspiciousness given for Samyaktva, Hasya, Rati, and Purushaveda are not described as auspicious in other texts.
Those who regard these four natures as auspicious seem to have a very ancient viewpoint; because in addition to the mention found in the presented verse, the commentary has also offered lines reflecting differing opinions, indicating that the understanding of this viewpoint is unknown to us due to the schism in the tradition but might have been known to the ancient predecessors.
