૩૩૭ મેહનીયની ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સ્થિતિ સિત્તેર કટીકેટી સાગરોપમ પ્રમાણ છે.
નામ અને ગોત્રની ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સ્થિતિ વિશે કેટકેટી સાગરેપમ પ્રમાણ છે.
આયુષની ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સ્થિતિ તેત્રીશ સાગરેપમ પ્રમાણ છે.
જઘન્ય સ્થિતિ વેદનીયની બાર મુહૂર્ત પ્રમાણ છે.
નામ અને શેત્રની જઘન્ય સ્થિતિ આઠ મુહૂર્ત પ્રમાણ છે.
બાકીનાં પાંચે અર્થાત્ જ્ઞાનાવરણુ, દર્શનાવરણુ, અંતરાય, મેહનીય અને આયુષની જઘન્ય સ્થિતિ અંતમુહૂર્ત પ્રમાણ છે.
પ્રત્યેક કર્મની જે જે ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સ્થિતિ દર્શાવવામાં આવી છે, તેના અધિકારી મિથ્યાદષ્ટિ પર્યાપ્ત સંજ્ઞી પંચેંદ્રિય હોય છે; જઘન્ય સ્થિતિના અધિકારી જુદા જુદા સંભવે છે. જ્ઞાનાવરણ, દર્શનાવરણ, વેદનીય, નામ, ગોત્ર અને અંતરાય એ છની જધન્ય સ્થિતિ સૂક્ષ્મસં૫રાય નામક દશમ ગુણસ્થાનમાં સંભવે છે; મેહનીયની જઘન્ય સ્થિતિ નવમા અનિવૃત્તિબાદરસપરાય નામક ગુણસ્થાનમાં સંભવે છે, અને આયુષની જઘન્ય સ્થિતિ સંખ્યાતવર્ષજીવી તિર્યંચ અને મનુષ્યમાં સંભવે છે. મધ્યમ સ્થિતિ અસંખ્યાત પ્રકારની છે, અને તેના અધિકારીઓ કાષાયિક પરિણામના તારતમ્ય પ્રમાણે અસંખ્યાત હોય છે.
