મધ્યમ માર્ગથી જે આઠના વળી બીજા પ્રકારે વર્ણવવામાં આવ્યા છે; તે ઉત્તરપ્રકૃતિના ભેદના નામે પ્રસિદ્ધ છે. એવા ભેદો ૯૭ છે; તે મૂલપ્રકૃતિવાર આગળ અનુક્રમે દર્શાવવામાં आवे छे. [५] ઉત્તરપ્રકૃતિના ભેદોની સંખ્યા અને નામનિર્દેશઃ
पञ्चनवव्यष्टाविंशतिचतुर्द्विचत्वारिंशदूद्विपञ्चभेदा यथाक्रमम् ।६।

चक्षुरचक्षुरवधिकेवलानां निद्रानिद्रानिद्राप्रचलाप्रचलाप्रचलास्त्यानगृद्धिवेदनीयानी च । ८।
सदसवेद्ये । ९।
दर्शनचारित्रमोहनीयकषायनोकषायवेदनीयाख्या. स्त्रिद्विषोडषनवभेदाः सम्यक्त्वमिथ्यात्वतदुभयानि कषायनोकषायावनन्तानुबन्ध्यप्रत्याख्यानप्रत्याख्याना. वरणसंज्वलनविकल्पाश्चैकशः क्रोधमानमायालोमा हास्यरत्यरतिशोकभयजुगुप्सास्त्रीपुनपुंसकवेदाः ।१०।
नारकतैर्यग्यानमानुषदैवानि । ११ । गतिजातिशरीराङ्गोपालनिर्माणबन्धनसंघातसंस्थान संहननस्पर्शरसगन्दवर्णानुपूर्व्यगुरुलघूपघातपराधाता. तपोधोताच्छवासविहाःयोगतयः प्रत्येकशरीरत्रससुभगसुस्वरशुभसूक्ष्मपर्याप्तस्थिरादेययशांसि सेतराणि तीर्थकृत्त्वं च । १२।
