Then, from the perspective of falsehood,
Chapter 8 - Sutra Rar3: Virati: Avirati means not refraining from faults.
Type: Pramada means forgetfulness of the self, that is, not having respect for skillful actions; not being cautious about the memory of duties and non-duties.
Var: Kashaya means breaking the limits of equanimity.
Vega means mental, vocal, and physical activity. The difference between the faulty causes mentioned in the sixth chapter and the falsehood causes mentioned here is that the faulty causes are specific to each type of karma, while the causes of falsehood are general to all types of karma. From falsehood up to the five causes of destruction, the prior causes are valid, and all subsequent ones are the same; just as when there is falsehood, there are four types of Avirati, and when there is Avirati, there are three types of Pramada. However, when the subsequent cause is there, there may or may not be an antecedent cause; for instance, where there is Avirati, the first Gunasthana may have falsehood, but in the second, third, and fourth Gunasthanas, even though there is Avirati, there is no falsehood; similarly, this can be reduced for others as well. Now, what is the nature of bondage?
Sachaya-tvajjivah karmano yogyan pudgalanadat.
As for Kashaya, the soul takes in such Pudgals related to karma.
