After determining the measure of tarvatha sutra and clothing, it is termed “kuhkyapramanitikram.” [24] On the occasion of the Vivraman vow: 1. After determining the measure of height for climbing trees, mountains, etc., to breach that measure due to greed or other emotions is termed “urdhvavyatikram;” 2-3. Similarly, to determine the measure for going down and the measure for going sideways and to break that due to attachment is respectively termed “adhavyatikram” and “tiryavyatikram;” 4. After accepting different measures for different directions, when a special occasion arises in a direction with lesser measure, to reduce a part from the accepted measure of another direction and increase the measure in the desired direction is termed area increase; 5. Although it is known that each rule is based on deep memory, forgetting the form of the rule or its limitations due to negligence or attachment is termed “mrityantardhan.” [25]
