તરવાથસૂત્ર અને કપડાંઓનું પ્રમાણ નક્કી કર્યા બાદ તેને અતિક્રમ કરો, તે “કુખ્યપ્રમાણતિક્રમ”. [૨૪] વિવિરમણ વ્રતના તિવાર ઃ ૧. ઝાડ, પહાડ વગેરે ઉપર ચડવામાં ઊંચાઈનું પ્રમાણ નક્કી કર્યા પછી લોભ આદિ વિકારથી તે પ્રમાણની મર્યાદા તેડવી, તે “ઊર્ધ્વવ્યતિક્રમ; ૨-૩. એ જ રીતે નીચે જવાનું પ્રમાણ અને તીરછા જવાનું પ્રમાણ નક્કી કરી તેનો મોહવશ ભંગ કરે, તે અનુક્રમે “અધવ્યતિક્રમ,” અને “તિર્ય_વ્યતિક્રમ; ૪. જુદીજુદી દિશાઓનું જુદું જુદું પ્રમાણ સ્વીકાર્યા બાદ ઓછા પ્રમાણુવાળી દિશામાં ખાસ પ્રસંગ પ્રાપ્ત થાય ત્યારે બીજી દિશામાંના સ્વીકારેલા પ્રમાણમાંથી અમુક ભાગ ઘટાડી, ઇષ્ટ દિશાના પ્રમાણમાં વધારો કરવો, તે ક્ષેત્રવૃદ્ધિ; ૫. દરેક નિયમના પાલનને આધાર સ્મૃતિ ઉપર છે એમ જાણવા છતાં, પ્રમાદ કે મોહને લીધે નિયમનું સ્વરૂપ કે તેની મર્યાદા ભૂલી જવાં, તે “મૃત્યન્તર્ધાન.” [૨૫]
