તત્ત્વાર્થસૂત્ર
કાઈના ખાનપાનમાં અટકાયત કરવી, તે અન્નપાનના નિરોધ.’ આ પાંચે દોષો ગૃહસ્થવ્રતધારીએ કાંઈ પણ પ્રયેાજન ન હોય તે ન જ સેવવા અવા ઉત્સગ માર્ગ છે; પરંતુ ગૃહસ્થપણાની ફરજને અંગે કાંઈ પ્રયાજનસર એમને સેવવા જ પડે, તેાયે તેણે કામલ વૃત્તિથી કામ લેવુ. [૨૦]
સત્ય વ્રતના અતિષ: ૧. સાચું ખાટુ' સમજાવી કાઈ તે આડે રસ્તા દોરવા, તે ‘મિથ્યા ઉપદેશ.' ૨. રાગથી પ્રેરાઈ વિનાદ ખાતર કાઈ પતિ-પત્નીને કે બીજા સ્નેહીઓને છૂટાં પાડવાં કે કોઈ એકની સામે બીજા ઉપર આરેાપ મૂકવા, તે ‘રહસ્યાભ્યાખ્યાન’૩. મહેાર, હસ્તાક્ષર આદિ વડે ખાટા દસ્તાવેજો કરવા, ખાટા સિક્કો ચલાવવા વગેરે ‘ફૂટલેખક્રિયા.’ ૪. થાપણ મૂકનાર કાંઈ ભૂલી જાય તેા તેની ભૂલને લાભ લઈ ઓછીવત્તી થાપણ મેળવવી, તે ન્યાસાપહાર.’૫. અદરાઅંદર પ્રીતિ તૂટે તે માટે એક બીજાની ચાડી ખાવી અગર કેાઈની ખાનગી વાત પ્રગટ કરી દેવી, તે ‘સાકારમંત્રભેદ.’ [૨૧]
અસ્તેય વ્રતના અતિચારો: ૧. કોઈને ચેરી કરવા માટે જાતે પ્રેરણા કરવી કે બીજા દ્વારા પ્રેરણા અપાવવી અગર તેવા કાર્યમાં સંમત થવું, તે ‘સ્તનપ્રયાગ;’૨. પાતાના પ્રેણા વિના કે સમતિ વિના કોઈ ચોરી કરી કાંઈ પણ વસ્તુ લાવ્યા હાય તે વસ્તુ લેવી. તે ‘તેનઆહુતઆદાન;’૩. જુદાં જુદાં રાજ્યે માલની આયાત-નિકાશ ઉપર જે અંકુશ મૂકે છે યા તે માલ પર દાણ—જકાત વગેરેની વ્યવસ્થા બાંધે છે, તેનું ઉલ્લંધન કરવું, તે ‘વિરુદ્ધરાજ્યાતિક્રમ;’ ૪. એાંવત્તાં માપ, કાટલાં, ત્રાજવાં આદિ વડે લેવડદેવડ કરવી, તે
