Chapter - Verse 14–26
79 The substances counted as karma, only because they are conditioned by those karma natures, do not get obstructed here even when the differentiations are made.
By organizing in this manner, both the aforementioned classical rule and the presented divisions remain unobstructed; nevertheless, it should be particularly understood that the acknowledgment of the differentiations related to the samvar of the karmas must be understood mainly in relation to the principal aspect; that is, when the knowledge-obscuring karmas like jnana-avaraniya are served, the differentiation of knowledge-obscuring primarily binds the related karma nature, while at that time the bondage of other karma natures happens secondarily. It cannot be accepted that at one time the bondage of only one karma nature occurs while others do not; because at the time when as many karma natures are grasped due to their respective dispositions, at that same time, those natures are also grasped through karmas due to kashay. Therefore, aside from the expectation of the primarily binding nature, there is no other consideration for the support of the samvar of the substances. [26]
Thus, the understanding of the differentiation is established.
