1. To perform charity such as the Tattvartha Sutra, Abhayadaan, and Shandan in a discerning manner, according to one's ability, is considered an act of renunciation. 2. Without hiding one’s strength, cultivating tolerance towards all kinds of beings in a discerning manner is a form of austerity as per one’s capability. 3. The goal of helping the fourfold Sangha and particularly helping a monk attain samadhi, or ensuring their well-being, is referred to as "Sanghasadhusamadhikaran." 4. Whenever any quality faces difficulty, making an effort to properly alleviate that difficulty is termed "Vaiyavruttyakaran." 5, 6, 7, 8. Having pure devotion towards Arihants, Acharyas, Bahusrutas, and scriptures is known as "Arihant-Acharya-Bahusruta-Pravachan-Bhakti." 9. Not abandoning the performance of necessities like Samayik with proper intent is essential negation of necessity. 10. Abandoning pride, applying knowledge and similar principles in life, and imparting them to others to enhance their influence is termed "Margapravahana." 11. Just as a shepherd keeps a cow, maintain selfless affection for righteous individuals, termed "Pravachanvatsalya." 12. Commencing sat-sanghas holds importance. 13. Speaking ill of others is "Paraninda." (Ninda refers to the tendency to express true or false faults through poor judgment). 14. Boasting about one’s father is "Atmaprashansa." (The tendency to express true or false qualities is termed "Prashansa"). 15. To cover up the virtues present in others while neglecting to mention them despite suitable occasions is termed "Sadgunna Aachchhadan." 16. Displaying qualities in one’s father even when they are absent is termed "Asadgunna Uddhavana."
