Q: What is the difference between the two?
A: Reduce the difference in one's own self. When the activities of mind, speech, and body diverge in one's own matters, it is called "gavrata." And when this happens in the matters of another, it is called "visandvadan"; for instance, if someone is going the wrong way, rather than explaining it backward, simply guide them in the right direction, saying it this way.
Thus, what was mentioned above regarding the reverse means the simplicity of mind, speech, and body (uniformity of activities), and "visandvadan" means to eliminate the discrepancies between two and establish unity; guiding someone who is going wrong onto the right path. Both of these are auspicious names of karma. [21-22] - From the Sutras called Tira: "Darshanvishuddhi" means the pristine and firm truth as stated by the Vitaraga. 2. "Vinayasampanna" means showing proper respect towards knowledge and the means to liberation. 3. Ahimsa, truth, etc., are the foundational qualities of vows, and not being negligent in observing these vows is "Shilavratantanichar." 4. Being constantly alert in knowledge regarding the principles is 'Abhishan shane pag.' 5. To remain afraid of worldly bonds that truly lead to suffering instead of happiness, meaning never to fall into their allure is "Abhinu sanveg."
