The Tattvarthasutra indicates that, due to causes, the state of the soul changes from one of permanent existence to one of impermanence with respect to the time of agency. When discussing the distinctions of time concerning karma and its fruits, and when the nature of impermanence is established through the perspective of a changing viewpoint, the nature of permanence is not the main goal from the perspective of substance. Thus, due to the analysis and non-analysis, the soul is sometimes said to be eternal and sometimes impermanent. When both natures are analyzed simultaneously, it is said that the soul is describable because there is no corresponding term for the relation of coexisting natures. Due to the distinctions of analysis, non-analysis, and mutual analysis, four additional phrases can be formed from the various combinations of the three previous phrases: eternal-impermanence, eternal-describable, impermanence-describable, and eternal-impermanence-describable. These seven phrases are to be understood. Among these, the first three phrases, particularly two of them, are fundamental since they can elucidate the nature of permanence and impermanence through various perspectives; similarly, other juxtaposed natures that appear contradictory, such as existence-non-existence, unity-multiplicity, and descriptiveness-non-descriptiveness, must also be analyzed in a sevenfold manner. Hence, a single entity can be considered both multi-natured and subject to various interactions. Now, what is the statement regarding the purpose of the worldly bond?
