Tattvarthasutra
With respect to the definitions regarding specific numbers such as seventeen, eleven, twelve, and fifteen, there is a distinction.
According to the order of ascent: for each level, there is victory in the nine divisions concerning the Aaranachyuta upwards, along with the seven oceanic measures in each of them, leading to the total attainment of all goals. 38.
In the heavenly realm known as Saudham, one should recognize the states in order.
In Saudham, there is the state resembling the ocean up to a certain point, and additionally, there is some state in Asana.
As described below, in the Sagarapama of Sankumara, there are seven oceanic measures. From Mahendra to Aaranambuta in order, there are additionally seven oceanic measures above three, above seven, above ten, above eleven, above thirteen, and above five units, marking their respective positions.
Above Aarna Achyuta, there are nine Triveyakas, four Vichaya, and in Sarvarthasiddhi, in order, there is a position that is one oceanic measure above each.
The heavenly conditions of the Vaimanik Deva that are presented in sequence are superior. Their lower conditions will be discussed later. First, among the heavens, that oceanic measure in the Kheejava heavens is somewhat above that oceanic measure, in the third there are seven oceanic measures, and in the fourth somewhat above the seven oceanic measures.
