Humanity is mainly divided into two parts: "Ārya" and "Laiṭa." Six types of Āryas are considered based on different aspects, such as region, caste, clan, karma, craft, and language. "Kṣetrārya" refers to those born in the fifteen karmabhumis, and especially those born in the orders. Those born in the lineages of Ikṣvāku, Videha, Hari Jñāta, Kuru, Ugra, etc., are called "Jātiārya." Those who are pure and have a noble lineage, such as Kulakara, Cakravartin, Baladeva, Vāsudeva, among others, are "Kulārya." Those who earn a living through Yajana, Yājana, Paṭhana, Pāṭhana, Kṛṣi, Lipi, Vāṇijya, etc., are called "Karmārya." Those with little means of livelihood such as Vāṇakara, Hajama, Kuṃbhāra, etc., who live through humble and unrefined occupations, are "Śilpārya." Those who are revered in a cultured language are prominent.
