Although the Tavaṭhasūtra states that non-returning life does not end before the fixed limit of life, the summary is that living beings with non-returning life encounter causes like weapons, etc., that lead them to untimely death, whereas those with non-returning life do not experience untimely death, regardless of the strong causes they may encounter.
Those with upapāta birth are only hell beings and gods. The charmadēha and excellent humans are the only ones who possess the same body and attain liberation without taking a new birth, and they are called “charmadēha.” Tirthankaras, chakravartins, vāsudevas, and prativāsudevas are referred to as excellent humans. Some humans and certain tiryanca (animal beings) are those who live for an incalculable number of years. Those who are pātika and live for an incalculable number of years are beings with non-returning life, while the charmadēha and excellent humans possess some forms of non-returning life. All other humans and tiryanca beings have returning and non-returning lives.
Those who have their lives enjoyed before the predetermined limit of life will be blamed for actions that lead to destruction, non-fulfillment, and failure, and so how will one combat the unfavorable outcome that is not desired according to the scriptures?

The human beings who live for an incalculable number of years originate only in three akarmabhūmi, sixty-six antaradvīpa, and karmabhūmi; however, the tiryanca beings that live for an incalculable number of years are found not only in these realms but also outside the realms of the two and a half kīpa beyond the islands and seas.
