Chapter 2 - Sutra 37-46
The embryonic state does not dissipate.
The five types of body are:
1. Audarika (gross body),
2. Vaikriya (transformation body),
3. Aharaka (nutritional body),
4. Taijasa (light body),
5. Karpana (subtle body).
Among these five types of body, the subsequent bodies are subtler than the previous ones.
The three bodies preceding the Taijasa are more gross than the subtler regions of the body—up to the uppermost body region which is known for infinite qualities.
The last two bodies, namely Taijasa and Karpana, have infinite qualities through the region of the body itself.
Taijasa and Karpana are non-obstructive in nature.
They are eternally related to the soul, and all worldly beings possess these bodies.
In this context, it is suggested that the Taijasa body is also generated from the released form, meaning that just as the Vaisharika body can be produced from certain conditions, in the same way, the Taijasa body can also be created from certain conditions. This does not imply that the Taijasa body solely arises from this released form.
