How is there a difference between the journey and birth?
Journey is the base and birth is what gives life. That is to say, the primary acceptance of the appropriate particles for the gross body is birth, and the acceptance that occurs in a particular place is the journey.
It is stated that there are eighty-four lakh (8.4 million) species of life forms. The mention of eighty-four lakh is in terms of the expanse. In the categories such as earth, water, fire, and air, the different types that possess qualities of form, taste, smell, and touch, according to their various origins, are counted among these eighty-four lakh.
Here, the eighty-four lakh have been divided in a structured manner to show nine distinctions.
From the three types of births mentioned above with respect to the Lord of birth, the classification of which birth exists in which beings is written below:
Jaraayuj, Andaj, and Parthiv beings are of Jaṇma (birth). Deva and Narka beings experience Upaapaj Janma (birth caused by their actions). The remaining, that is, five types of stationary beings, three types of mobile beings, and the human being have Samūha Janma (collective birth).
Those born from Jaṇma (birth) are Jārāyuj. For example: human beings, cows, buffaloes, goats, etc. Jārāyuj is a type of net-like covering that is filled with flesh and blood, in which the newborn is enclosed. Those born from eggs are Andaj.
