Names and gotras arise from the fruition of karmas. Krishna, Neela, Kaapita, Teja, Parva, and Shukla are the six types of leya – indicative of the karmic emergence or the bodily name's karmic fruition, thus the 21 types above referred to as the gradual emergence (oudāyika) are mentioned.
Jivatva (consciousness), bhavyatva (capacity for liberation), and abhavyatva (incapacity for liberation) are three inherent states. That is to say, they do not arise from karma's emergence, subsidence, destruction, or temporary destruction; but are established solely by the existence of the eternally proven soul substance; hence they are considered resultant.
Q: What are the three resultant states?
A: No, there are more.
Q: Then which ones?
A: Existence, otherness, agency, differentiation, quality, locality, infinitude, omnipresence, formlessness, and many more.
Q: Then why are they counted as only three?
A: Here, it is necessary to illustrate the nature of the soul, which can be shown through its extraordinary states. Thus, with the initial entities as resultant states, those which are extraordinary to the soul are portrayed. Although the states like existence and others are indeed resultant, they also exist in a common manner for the soul; hence they cannot be labeled as extraordinary states of life. That is why they are not pointed out here. Nevertheless, ultimately, the word “ādi” (beginning) is referred to.
