Some Acharyas state in the Tattvarthasutra that at the time of Kevaljnana (absolute knowledge), the four knowledge powers—mind (mati), intuitive knowledge (shruta), and others—are present. However, just as during the sunlight, celestial bodies like planets and stars are overshadowed by the sun's light, the pure functioning of Kevaljnana cannot take place. Therefore, despite the powers being present, at the time of Kevaljnana, mind and other knowledge manifestations are not salient.
Other Acharyas assert that mind and the other knowledge powers are not inherent in the soul but are rather dependent on the destruction of karma, indicating their karmic relativity. Hence, after the complete absence of knowledge-obscuring karma, specifically when Kevaljnana manifests, the possibility of those contingent powers does not exist at all. As a result, there are no other knowledge powers besides the power of Kevalya at the time of Kevaljnana, nor do they conduct themselves as manifestations of mind and others.
The definition of perverse knowledge and the implications of perversion: "The powers of mind, hearing, and intuition are three forms of perversion—not knowing the difference between reality and unreality leads to the understanding that even knowledge, due to the lack of discernment, is indeed ignorance."
