सोऽनन्तसमयः ॥ ३९ ॥
द्रव्याश्रया निर्गुणा गुणाः ॥ ४० ॥ तद्भावः परिणामः ॥ ४१ ॥
આ સૂત્રની વ્યાખ્યામાં મતભેદ છે. હરિભદ્ર સૌથી જુદા અર્થ આપે છે. હરિભદ્રગત વ્યાખ્યાના સિદ્ધસેને મતાંતર તરીકે ઉલ્લેખ કર્યાં છે.
