2. "Avikāsa": From a certain perspective, it appears that the commentary is more contemporary than all-encompassing accomplishment. What is discussed in the commentary is elaborated upon in the all-encompassing accomplishment, which provides more extensive discussions on specific topics. The debates on grammar and non-Jain philosophy in all-encompassing accomplishment are not present in the commentary. The unique stabilization of Jain terminology and the differentiation of statements discussed in all-encompassing accomplishment are less in the commentary. The logical consistency of all-encompassing accomplishment is greater than that of the commentary, and it incorporates the views of scientific thinkers like Buddhists which are absent in the commentary. Moreover, the criticism of philosophical perspectives gains strength in all-encompassing accomplishment. All of this establishes the antiquity of the commentary compared to all-encompassing accomplishment.
3. Sectarianism: The mentioned aspect is significantly more important than mere commentary; it pertains to sectarianism. After intense debates on matters like time, the nature of the liberated soul, steadfastness, and women's liberation, and when sectarian insistence gained prominence, all-encompassing accomplishment was compiled; whereas in the commentary, the essence of this sectarian fixation does not appear. The entrenched dichotomy of the established Shvetambara sect with the Digambara sect is evident in all aspects put forth by the author of all-encompassing accomplishment.
1. For example, compare the commentary on the sutras 1, 2; 1, 12; 1, 32 and 2, 1 with the all-encompassing accomplishment corresponding to 2, 5, 39; 6, 13; 8, 1; 9, 9; 9, 11; 10, 9, etc.
