five manuscripts. In foot-notes to this tract occurs the sign सापा० which means 'a variant available in ⚫ manuscript'.
11. Viratthao: This Prakirnaka is critically edited on the basis of four manuscripts, viz. o, go, go and go ('the first manuscript bearing go sign'). All these manuscripts except o have been described earlier. The concerned manuscript must have been the one belonging to any of the three Bhandāras established by Pravartaka Shri Kantivijayaji.
12. Kusalāṇubamdhiajjhayana: In critically editing the text of this tract we have utilised six manuscripts, viz. o. go, Alo, Bio, संo and go ('the first manuscript bearing go sign'). The o manuscript must be any one of so many manuscripts in the L. D. Collection preserved in the L. D. Institute of Indology. All the remaining manuscripts have been described earlier. And the meaning of sign has been given.
13. Aurapaccakkhanam [2]: This Aurapaccakkhāna seems to be taken from some manuscript belonging to any one of many Bhaṇḍāras in Jesalmer. It consists of 34 gāthās. The New Catalogue of Manuscripts Jesalmer Collection published by the L.D. Institute of Indology does not mention the number of gāthās in the description of some of the manuscripts of this tract; hence we could not definitely identify this manuscript.
14. Causaranapainnaya: This Causaranapainnaya seems to be taken from the palm-leaf manuscript belonging to the Jinabhadrasūri Jaina Jñāna Bhaṇḍāra, Jesalmer and bearing the serial No. 151. The manuscript contains a collection of 24 works. In this manuscript, under sub-number 3, from folios 29-33, there is Causarana consisting of 27 gāthās; this Causarana must be identical with the one printed in this volume. (See the New Catalogue of MSS Jesalmer Collection, p. 48). For the details of other works contained in this manuscript, readers are requested to refer to the New Catalogue, pp. 47-51.
15. Bhattaparinnäpainnaya: The text of this Prakirṇaka is critically edited on the basis of six manuscripts, viz. go, Mo, do, Mo, to and go (the first manuscript bearing go sign). Of them, the manuscript must belong to the L.D. Collection preserved in the L.D. Institute of Indology. The remaining five manuscripts have already been described. The sign o occurring in foot-notes to this tract means 'the corrected reading available in the सं० manuscript'.
