are printed in Roman script. The L. D. Institute of Indology has published in 1974 these two texts in Roman and Devanāgarī scripts. 1 have utilised this publication. As I could not read Preface written in English, I mistook this Țikā for some old Avacūri and noted in footnotes as ao or agit. But later on I learnt from Pt. Dalsukhbhai Malvania that this commentary is composed by Dr. W. Schubring himself. As he has utilised many manuscripts in critically editing the text of the Sūtra, I have compared only one manuscript with his edition and edited the Sūtra. I have fully utilised Dr. Schubring's recension and variants noted by him. The description of the go manuscript which I have utilised is as follows: This manuscript belongs to the Muni Shri Punyavijayaji Collection preserved in the L. D. Institute of Indology, Ahmedabad. In the list it is numbered 95. At the end the copyist has not written a colophon. But on the basis of the characteristics of the script, the manuscript could well be assigned to the 16th Cent. V.S. It has 15 folios and 56 to 58 letters per line. The central portion of each folio has been left blank in such a way that some design emerges. The text is completed in the first side of the folio No. 15. Hence the second side of the folio is left blank.
Besides the go manuscript mentioned above, there is a presscopy of Isibhasiyaim, prepared by Rev. Sadhviji Shri Omkarashriji. In this presscopy at a very few places some variants have been noted and the sign go has been written to indicate the manuscript in which they are available. Such notes occur at hardly two or three places. The sign signifies any manuscript or the manuscript belonging to any of the three Collections established by Pravartaka Shri Kantivijayaji.
9. Divasagarapannattigāhāo: In the preparation of the critical edition of the text of this Prakīrnaka, we have utilised three manuscripts, viz. O, and go. Of these three, the go manuscript has already been described. The g manuscript must be the one belonging to the Pravartaka Kantivijayaji Collection preserved in the Jaina Jñana Mandira, Chani. The list of this Collection is with the L. D. Institute of Indology, Ahmedabad. Therein under serial No. 23, this manuscript is described. It consists of five folios. The sign indicates the printed text edited by Muni Shri Candanasagarji and published by the Candanasāgara Jñāna Bhandāra, Vejalpur, in Vīra Samvat 2472.
