INTRODUCTION
Jaina nun Omkarashriji. These copies are also completely corrected by Muni Shri Punyavijayaji. The text of Isibhāsiyāim (pp. 192-256) is also copied by Rev. Omkarashriji and I have corrected it according to my understanding and learning. The Prakiranakasūtras whose texts are copied by me are Camdāvejjhayapainnayam (pp. 63-89), Kusalanubamdhiajjhayanan (pp. 298-304), Aurapacca. kkhanam [2] (pp. 305-308), Siri Virabhaddayariyaviraiyan Aurapaccakkhānapainnayaṁ (pp. 329-336), Sārāvalīpainnayam (pp. 350360) and Titthogälīpainnayam (pp. 409-523). Having noted variants I have corrected these copies. Of course, Muni Shri Punyavijayaji had noted some variants in the copies of the first four Prakirņakasūtras. The text of Joisakaramdagaṁ painņayan (pp. 361-408) along with its oldest commentary is copied by Muni Shri Punyavijayaji. Again, it is he who has corrected this copy. I have simply copied the text of Joisakaramdaga from this copy. Again, I have noted down in my copy the readings and corrections from Muni Shri Punyavijayaji's copy.
The press-copies of the remaining nine Prakırnakasūtras (Serial Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, and 17) are prepared by Shri Nagindas Kevalshi Shah. Of these nine copies, the four of the four Prakīrnakasūtras (Serial Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4) were fully examined and corrected by Muni Shri Punyavijayaji, whereas in the five remaining copies of the five Prakirnakasūtras (Serial Nos. 5, 7, 10, 15 and 17) tentative readings were noted down by him; I finalised these tentative readings, having weighed them according to my understanding. In these nine Prakirnakas the headings indicating the subjectmatter are given by me.
In addition to the press-copies of all the twenty abovementioned Prakirnakasūtras, Muni Shri Punyavijayaji got prepared the presscopies of some aradhanaprakaranas and kulakas etc., and he himself noted down variants in these press-copies. According to his wish, they will be printed, along with other appendixes, in the second part of this work.
DESCRIPTION OF MANUSCRIPTS Muni Shri Punyavijayaji had obtained manuscripts of the twenty Prakirnakasūtras included in this first part of the Volume from different Jaina Bhandāras. Some of these manuscripts were returned by him to the Bhaņdāras they belong to. Of course, he has given a sign to each manuscript. And this sign is mentioned
