Laurence Freeman OSB leads Christian meditation retreats and travels extensively as spiritual director of the World Community of Christian Meditation that was founded by his spiritual mentor, John Main OSB. Father Laurence, a native of Britain, lives at a Benedictine monastery in London. He also teaches regularly at the WCCM center in Florence, Italy.
Swami Satchidananda is an internationally respected teacher, author. and speaker who introduced the Integral Yoga teachings to the West over thirty years ago. He received initiation into Sannyasa by his guru Swami Sivananda in India in 1949. A native of South India, he is the founder and resident spiritual guru of Satchidananda Yogaville Ashram in Buckingham County, Virginia.
Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is one of the leading teachers of Bon Dzogchen meditation in the West. He travels extensively to give retreats and workshops on Bon in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Mexico. He received the doctorate of Geshe degree at the Bonpo Monastic Center in Dolanji HP, India. His teachers in the Bon and Buddhist traditions include Lopon Sange Tenzin, Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, and Geshe Yangdrung Namgyal. Tenzin Wangyal, who is of Tibetan heritage, is the founding president and resident Lama of Ligmincha Institute in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Edward McCorkell OCSO, has been teaching contemplative prayer to monks, lay retreatants, and others for many years. He has been very involved in the intermonastic dialogue with Buddhist and Hindu monks and nuns. He has served as abbot of monasteries in Virginia and in Chile. A South African native, Father Edward, who has been a Cistercian monk for over fifty years, lives at Holy Cross Abbey in Virginia.
Swami Shankarananda is a respected teacher and author of books on Kriya Yoga/Advaita Vedanta. He is the founder and spiritual guide of the Divine Life Church of Absolute Oneness in Baltimore. He received initiation into the
