The author of this Tattvarthadhigamasutra, the priceless work fit to be recommended as a text-book of Jaina philosophy even to students of different Universities, is the well-known Vachakamukhya Śri Umāsvāti, who is equally revered both by the Svetambaras and the Digambaras. It is a matter of rejoicing that he has written a commentary (Bhashya) on it which has been ably expounded by many a learned saint out of whom Śrī Siddha-senagani deserves special mention in this connection.
