________________ They hoped to marry Vankachula who would become a god after his death, if he did not touch the flesh. “We fear losing him as our husband if he eats the flesh.” Jinadas, therefore, assured them that their fear was unfounded and that he would ask him to stick to his vow.. Jinadas reached the king's palace and found Vankachula in great agony. Here the king appraised Jinadas of his mission but he refused to do what he was told.
