________________ પ્રશસ્તિ [6] A Symbol of Human Efforts. The belief that a man's powers are endowed by nature only is not correct. A man can develop his powers by his own efforts. Shri Dhirajlal Shah has proved that fact. He has developed his powers to such an extent that he can remember 100 things at a time. Shri Dhirajlal Shah should be considered a symbol of human-efforts. Everybody should admire his perseverence, industriousness and capabilities. Bombay, Amratlal Sheth 13--1-1942. . Editor : Janmabhoomi. [7] Unimaginable & Marvellous powers I very well remember your AVADHAN PRAYOGAS performed at Ghatakopar. I have been greatly impressed by your powers, calmness modesty and humbleness. What unimaginable and marvellous powers a man can possess have been very well demonstrated by your Prayogas. I wish you greater and greater success. Bombay Jamnadas Mehta 19-1-1937. Mayor of Bombay [8] A Worthy Son of India We had the pleasure of attending two meetings in Calcutta in which wonderful powers of mental retention and reproduction were exhibited by the Shatavadhani Pandit Shri Dhirajlal Tokershi Shah of Bombay. In our ancient Yoga Shastras, we came across accounts of Super-ordinary attainments of mental powers, from Pandit Dhirajlal, we had an actual demonstration of some of these............ .......... The above demonstrations of the Pandit show how limited is the scope of the present day empirical psychology and how a vast region of mental capacities lies unexplored beyond the ken of the modern psychologists. We wish a long and happy life to the Pandit who is really a worthy son of India. Calcutta, Harisatya Bhattacharya 27-3-1955. MA.,B.L.,Ph.D.
