Jangal : A type of green resembling sap green in largely used in miniature paintings. Its process of manufacture in brief is as under: Copper powder, Navsagar (Sal-amoniac) are taken in a copper pot in particular proportion to which is added lime juice. The month of the pot is sealed with cloth for nearly 40 days. Afterwords the contents are drained out and ground with lime juice and dried in shade to make tablets.
