(12) - Knowledge we gain through clairvoyance and telepathy (avadhi), - knowledge we receive through direct mental perception (manah-paryaya) and - omniscience (kevala jnana) are direct knowledge. These three types of knowledge manifest automatically and immediately in our consciousness as soon as the karma that blocked its access is partially or fully dissolved. We instantly become aware of the newly accessible range of knowledge. We need no external factor to alert us to this expansion of our ability to gain insight.
