With Shree Adinath's and Acharya Bhagwants' blessing, approximately 60 people in early 2012 completed an auspicious event that they still remember today. Everyone of the attendees completed the 99 Yatra event at the Shatrunjay Mahatirth. At first many of these attendees felt this activity wasn't possible to finish, but with Shree Adinath Krupa and Acharya Bhagwants' blessing and support of fellow yatris each member was able to complete the 99 Yatra event.
News spread to all of the United States Jain centers about the unforgettable 99 Yatra event. Many Jains felt they missed out on a wonderful opportunity. But with the support of JAINA, approval was granted to perform this 99 Yatra event again at the Shree Shatrunjay Mahatirth 2016. The Finalized dates for this event are November 14, 2016 through January 13, 2017. Yatra committee have included TWO NEW EVENTS FOR THIS YEAR. 12 GAU CHHARI PALIT YATRA DECEMBER 27 to 30, 2016. • A Yatra To SHREE GIRNAR TIRTH JANUARY 3 & 4. 2017.
We are sending herewith information regarding this Shree Shatrunjay Mahatirth 99 Yatra in 2016 Please put this information on your respective Jain Center notice board and inform each member of this event through the Jain Center's newsletter. Announce this yatra program during the next upcoming major Jain Center program. Also please, if possible, promote the families interested in sponsoring this yatra.
