Sachivalaya, Bombay 400 032 I am happy to know that the Birth Centenary af the great Saint Kavivarya Pandit Shri Nanchandraji Maharaj of Saurashtra is proposed to be celebrated on November 22, 1976 by the Pujya Gurudeo Nanchanrdaji Maharaj Janmashatabdi Trust.
Our country possesses a rich and profound heritage of saints and sages, whose teachings have helped in enriching the lives of common men. Shri Nanchandraji Maharaj commanded wide rsepect for his all pervasive vision, versatile personality, and humanitarian approach towards peeple. Apart from being a devoted saint, he took keen interest in eradication of human sufferings and miseries. He always rose above all sectarian and narrow barriers of caste dogmatism etc. That way he was a religious revolutionary and an ardent social worker.
I am sure that the programmes that are being organised in connection with his Birth Centenary will help propagate his philosophy of life. I wish all success to the centenary celebrations.

I am thankful to you for your letter of 12th July 76, regarding publication of Centenary Volume on the occasion of Birth Centenary of Kavivarya Pandit Shree Nanchandraji Maharaj. I am sorry that because of other pressing engagements I could not send my reply earlier. I hope you will kindly understand my difficulties and excuse for the delay.
Kavivarya Pandit Shree Nanchandraji Maharaj like the revealed learned personalities and saints have blessed the society and given their valuable guidance for the development of mental peace and happiness amongst the people. side by side with the material prosperity of the nation. As a devotee of these saints always bow my head and pray for their guidance in making my life and services useful in the cause of removal of miseries of the down trodden.
I am happy that Shri Vardhaman Sthanakvasi Jain Shravak Sangh is doing a valuable service in spreading the teaching of the great Kavivarya Pandit Shree Nanchandraji Maharaj by celebrating the Birth Centenary. and send my best wishes for the success in their undertaking.
