________________ mysterious green leaves, the judge's father began to grow a thick crop of black, healthy hair on his head, new shiny skin appeared where the old skin had fallen dreadfully away, and he got a new set of white, strong teeth! Needless to say, everyone was mystified by the physical transformation of the patient, and no one could explain how the old, dying man was changed into a vital, healthy-looking man of forty, by three green leaves and hot milk, least of all the medical doctors. Meanwhile the judge, who was a very honest, humanitarian man, and who witnessed the miraculous changes that occurred to his father, wanted to get the formula or knowledge of this herbal medicine so that he could make it available to others. In fact, the judge had such strong feelings about the potential value of the herbal medicine to humanity, that he was willing to compromise his professional ethics and release the son of the herbal doctor at once, in exchange for the man's herbal knowledge. But, the herbal doctor was a man who was sworn to tribal secrecy about the practices and knowledge of herbal medicine and he would not betray his cultural heritage even if it meant that his beloved son would face the full penally of law for his alleged crime.
